#πρινκαιμετα now I know what you guys are gonna say. "NOOOO!!! Refinishing guitars will ruin the tone!!!" It's a myth. This thing sounds great and feels like a brand new guitar! My 75 D-18 was badly damaged on a flight in February and came back to me in pieces. So rather than make an angry post about it showing the damage, I thought I'd make lemonade with these lemons and give this guitar the facelift it's needed for 30 years, and then look for an old photo (which happens to be from May 2, 2020).
I also know a lot of you are gonna say that you like the look more, but that much exposed wood is criminal instrument negligence. This now has period perfect finish less than a couple microns thick, repaired braces that had cracked or come unglued, reinforced top cracks and side cracks, and sorry you but it sounds just like it used to. I love it.
The pair of gentlemen who restored this fine instrument are so old school they do not have an online presence at all. All I gotta say is, if you need to restore an acoustic instrument, ask your boy in OKAY!!!! #ξυλουργος #κιθαρα #μουσικαοργανα

11 years ago I had the pleasure of having one of my first big shows as an original artist opening for extraordinares and friends Andy McKee () and Antoine Dufour (). It was a day for me as not only did I get the honor of playing the legendary in my hometown but I got to know the guys better and had a great time! rules!
