Positive day in the office today chipping away getting closer to where the No.1 goal is. Many positives to take out of today for instance: 1st time in the 2nd group, More points to add to my championship tally, closer to the leaders again. I’ll take this and the pace I know I can do for tomorrow’s race.

Race 1 : P13

First day of riding at the wonderful Mugello Circuit. Today I built at my time and kept chipping away to get closer to the leaders.

In Qualifying however I was 0.6 up on my lap time but I came up on coming traffic which was a shame but we take the positives of the day knowing that I can do a 1.01.8 without any pressure and I believe I can find much more time.

Thank you everybody.

FP1 - P18
FP2 - P22
Qualifying - P19

A very busy day today and yesterday. A 5-hour delayed plane journey and then our booked hotel was derelict and padlocked. Having no where to stay we finally drove back north to Bologna and got to sleep at 5am.

Now we are set and all ready to rock thanks to D’Italia and

Now a weekend has passed and I have had time to reflect. I must say I am very happy with how the progression of this season is going as from Race 1 at Jerez to Race 4 of the season at Le Mans I was 27 seconds closer to the winner of the race. I have managed to do a lot of learning and I’m happy with the progression rate that I’m going at. I do need to smooth things out during the races as I have been making to many mistakes as I’m not used to pushing on my pace the whole race, But it all comes with experience so a big thank you to everyone who has got me here and let’s keep on going.

For Race 1 I was in the battle for P16 till I high sided and knocked the fairing over the air scoop where I lost power and snapped my fairing bracket. Luckily I was able to finish the Race in P21.

In Race 2 I didn’t have the best 1/3 of the race as I didn’t get up to pace quick enough however I put my head down and I managed to catch straight up to the group ahead and battle for P16 again where I dropped my time by 0.5 again without a tow so I’m very happy with how it went even though I struggled to get past and stayed in the same position, its’s all learning

Race 1 - P21
Race 2 - P19

FP1 - P20 +2.0
Today has had its ups and downs, where I have learnt the wonderful Le Mans circuit. It started off very well with FP1 just building and I finished in P20 but only 2 seconds off the leaders and feeling confident I could find more time in FP2.

FP2 - 24 +2.6
In FP2 on Lap 1 I went out and in the last corner on lap 1 I lost the front which was a complete mistake and I feel it knocked the momentum we had built with the KTM at that moment in time which was frustrating. After that, the amazing Rookies crew got me back out for the last half of the session which was brilliant

Qualifying - P24 +2.8
We managed to improve over FP2 by a whole second which was a good step. There are some things we need to work on – I can be better and we’ve found how to make the KTM even better too, so roll on tomorrow.

Going in to Qualifying I felt ok and ready to go I managed to drop a whole second however I still felt like I had no feeling with the bike and it wouldn’t turn. In conclusion due to my crash in FP2 I had twisted a fork yoke and it was 5 degrees pointing to the right when the bars were straight, so that’s annoying.

We go again tomorrow for the race and I hope the feeling with bike comes back tomorrow for the race.

What a roller coaster Thursday and Friday has been.

I feel really happy with how it’s all gone so far

FP1 - 1 Flying lap then I crashed a very big rookie mistake but I have learnt my lesson.
FP2 - P23 - I reset and went again just working on my own and I felt good to be back on my KTM

Qualifying - P19 - Really happy with how the session went I didn’t really find a group to do my time with but I was able to get a good time at the start and then my best time coming at the end of the session.

Thank you to all the Mechanics and Staff for fixing my bike perfectly and getting me back out on track.

What an explosion of emotions after a very positive 3 days of testing which I am now reflecting on now back at home.

What can I say other than wow I’m lost for words I have dreamed about being a Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup rider ever since my first MotoGP game of MotoGP 17 where all I would play was Red Bull Rookies and now it’s a reality.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me get to where I am today and believing in me but the work won’t stop we only keep going.

Everyone mark your calendars for as it shall be released on the 02.05.24

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect test thank you so much to everyone in the team, for making me feel so warm and welcome.

It was very nerve racking at first but there was no need to put pressure on my self which they made clear and all I had to do was to go out there and have fun and the rest will come, which I did and wow I now feel at home with my Moto 3 and the team. This whole experience has just been awesome.
