Wow it feels like such a long time since I have posted. I'm afraid I am still not taking orders at the moment but I wanted to share a cake I made for my daughters birthday last month as its the first character cake I had made in 9 months 😱 It was a Toothless inspired cake from 'How to train your dragon'. 5 layers of her favourite zesty lemon drizzle cake 😋😋
Looking through my camera roll I realised I still have photos of the last two cakes I made last year that I didn't post, I will try and get them posted for you to see 😊

I'm excited to say I will be making Mothers day boxes again this year 🥰 I will be offering boxes of Cupcakes, Cupcake flowers, Bronuts and my Cupcake bouquets. Mixed boxes of Cupcakes and Bronuts are also available with your choice of each item. Please see below for more information:

These boxes can be mixed with your choice of items - they can be all cupcakes, all bronuts or a mix of both.

My Mothers day cupcakes will come in pinks and whites with a mothers day topper simular to pictured. For example a box of 4 inlcudes 1 multi design cupcake, 1 triple rose cupcake, 1 single rose cupcake and 1 mothers day topper cupcake.

Bronuts - yummy triple chocolate brownies in the shape of a doughnut, topped with a choice of topping and decorated with themed goodies 😋

- Nutella

Wow what a return to the kitchen - I think it was my busiest Valentines to date, it was so lovely to hear how much my treats have been missed 💕 I absolutely loved baking all your goodies again and I hope you all had a very lovely day yesterday 🥰

Box will include:
- 2 cupcakes
- 2 chocolate topped Bronuts (doughnut shaped brownies)
- 2 Stuffed New York cookies (stuffed with either biscoff, Nutella or chocolate orange)
- A caramel filled chocolate Geoheart
- 2 fondant topped biscuits
- mini chocolate hearts and marshmellows
- £23 per box.

- Cookie pies (pukka pie sized) -
Filled with two layers of filling, either:
- Nutella and kinder with Buenos and Kinder bars inside
- Biscoff and cookies & cream with Oreos and Lotus biscuits inside.
All topped with heart choccies and goodies then gift wrapped and finished with a bow.

Here's one from last month for a Halloween loving little girl with a very sweet tooth lol 😍😋🍬🍭
This Halloween bucket themed cake had a hidden surprise sweet cascade sandwiched inbetween layers of yummy chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, all topped with even more sweets 🍬🤩
I was sent a fab photo of the inside when cut showing all the hidden sweets which I've posted in the comments 😋
I hope Ayla had a fantastic sugar filled 3rd birthday 🥳🥳

I loved the gold theme to this very special engagement themed treat box - even complete with tiny engagement rings 😍💍

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of making this fondant bride and groom for a very lovely couple on their big day. I was sent a photo of the brides dress so I could make it as accurate as possible and was told all the details for the grooms suit and the flowers - I was really pleased with the finished models and thought they looked lovely on the cakes that the couple had bought for them to stand on 😍
I also made some small flowers to decorate the front of one of their other cakes, I loved the bright colours they had chosen and felt very honored to have been able to have made all these special items for their big day 🥰

* Important Notice *

Due to a change in my families circumstances I'm very sad to say that I will be taking a step back from Sal's Heavenly Bakes for the near future and therefore I will no longer be taking any orders. All orders already booked will still be honored and I will still be uploading photos and posts to my page. This has been an incredibly difficult decision to make however it is time to begin a new chapter.
I'm hoping in the future to still be able to offer a selection of treats for special celebrations such as valentines, mothers day etc, so my page will remain open 😊

**Special** Friday's Pic N Mix treat box day 😋😋

To celebrate the reopening of the schools (parents everywhere are secretly celebrating 🤣) or just because its Friday, I've decided to do a special 'Pic N Mix day'. I will be offering a variety of my treat box items where you can pick and mix the items you would like in your box (minimum order two items). Treats available will be - overloaded cupcakes, Bronuts, NY cookies, Pukka pie sized Cookie Pies and raspberry & white chocolate Blondies. Individual flavours and prices are on each attached photo.

Collection is Friday the 9th, early evening.

*Please note if you would like these as a gift the box can be presented with tissue paper and marshmellows for a small additional cost.

Here's one from a while ago which is one of my favourite drip cakes that I've made. The theme was raspberry and white chocolate plus the birthday boys favourite - Belgian buns 😋
So this was 6 layers of yummy vanilla sponge filled with raspberry jam and then filled and encased in white chocolate buttercream, all finished with a white chocolate ganache drip, fresh raspberries, goodies and of course two big Belgian buns 😁

After a routine inspection today I'm very happy to say I have retained my 5* food hygiene rating 😊🌟🌟

After a lovely couple of weeks away on holiday I'm back and all refreshed 😊
I'm not taking any orders for July and August but my books are open from September onwards.
In the meantime I will still be checking emails and hopefully finally sharing months of bakes that I'm still behind on posting photos of 🙈
As most of you know I have 3 lovely children who are off school at the moment so please bare with me if I'm a little slower than usual at answering messages - I'll either be on a day out or elbow deep in paints and crafting 🙈🤣 but I will get back to you ASAP x

My baby girl turned 8 today and this was the cake she requested for her party the other week with a hidden surprise money pull inside 🥰 This was two tall tiers of zesty lemon drizzle cake filled and encased in lemon buttercream, topped with a pink ganache drip melting icecream design and decorated with homemade mini donuts and biscuits 😋😋
My children are my most difficult customers lol, she wanted a two tier tall cake so the bottom tier was 5 layers of sponge tall and the top tier 6 layers...... for 6 friends at her party 🙈😂 Luckily we had several family meet ups over the weekend so I turned up to each of them with lemon cake 😋😂😂

This is all handmade by myself.

A pretty lilac drip cake today to celebrate a special 70th birthday complete with macaroons, handmade fondant flowers and meringue kisses 🥰
This was a tall 5 layer large vanilla sponge cake filled with jam and yummy vanilla buttercream topped with a white chocolate drip 😋

You can never be too old for a Fort cake 😁🏰 The birthday boys favourite pup is standing tall on top ready to wish him a very happy 60th birthday 🥳

I loved making this beautiful mermaid themed cake for Elliana's 5th birthday 😍
This was 2 layers chocolate sponge and buttercream and 2 layers vanilla with jam and vanilla buttercream all encased in vanilla buttercream 😋 There is also a photo of the inside of the cake in the comments 😊

I often get asked 'how do you cut a tall cake?' lol. So for my sons birthday the other week I finally remembered to take some photos 😊 Step by step using a cutting board you rest it beside the cake and cut the full length down, then lay the board down and cut the slices length ways first and again across the middle and they are ready to serve :) For the next row just repeat.
They aren't the best photos I'm afraid as they are a bit dark and I was rushing a little but hopefully it gives you an idea. Also there is a video which I will upload in a moment (for some reason Facebook won't let me add it with the photos 🙈) x

April is a busy month in our house with my sons birthday just a week after my daughters 🙈😂 His request this year was for a chocolate sponge and buttercream cake coated in oreo buttercream topped with a Biscoff drip and decorated with Cookie Pies and goodies 😋
So here it is - 6 layers tall with an added Nutella overflow and a personalised Nintendo Switch themed 11th birthday topper 😍

For once I even remembered to take a photo of the inside when I cut it 😂 So I've added a photo in the comments and a close up of his switch topper 😊
