Are any of these products in your house?

They were in ours up until March 1999. Now, because of information we received through a 35 minute informational overview, we are now and have been since, a 100% toxin free home. These are just the tip of the iceberg regarding extremely toxic and carcinogenic products throughout your home. Tide is even banned in Europe. So glad we listened instead of easily and foolishly saying " No, we're good".
That would have been the dumbest thing we could have done.

How many of you have attended a Tony Robbins Event?

Over the last 5 nights I got to share an amazing event with my daughter. We slept a total of 18 hours in 5 nights. In 4 days I was pushed harder than I ever imagined possible. Stood, jumped, and danced (and cried) for over 12 hours straight each day. Walked across 14 feet of hot burning coals without feeling a thing. LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!! Tony Robbins "Unleash the Power Within" has been the most amazing, rewarding, and transforming event I have ever experienced in my entire life. (Oh and we got to see Pitbull perform live just because he's friends with Tony).

Perform - the Journey to running the 1/2 Marathon. Well, it's almost here. But to be honest it has been a rough journey. When I attempted to run the 10K in Oct, I learned a lot of lessons. Have you ever set a goal and not been pleased with your progress? Read Part 1 of my journey. Please share if you think it would help someone.

Just Start... When you think about it, making the statement that We Are Changing Lives could be considered rather bold. Especially in today’s world of social media where you can receive a huge backlash, be ripped to shreds, peer reviewed or just plain unfriended. Well, I’m starting this blog because in my work, t…

Perform - much better to run in 30 to 40 degree weather! Completed 7 miles today...ran 6 and walked 1. Woohoo!! This felt totally different then the hot 10k in 103 degrees.

Photos from Karen with We Are Changing Lives's post 11/10/2015

Perform - as Maegan and I are training for our half marathon, it was perfect timing for me to run a 10k while on my workcation. Oh my...I learned so much in accomplising this. First, I got to share my goal in front of my peers...powerful. I learned the importance of having partners making sure I didn't stop even though it was 103.5 degrees! It's about finishing...it doesn't matter how fast or how long it takes you. And much more I will share another time.

Purpose - does your work have purpose? Mine does! I get to spend 5 workcation days learning from tremendous leaders that all know their purpose.

Prosperity - when you get to enjoy your work!

30/09/2015

Perform - ok so I haven't exactly stuck with my training very well, but I have still come a long way from where I started. So now it's time to step it up. Today, instead of running 7 minutes and then walking 1 minute...I just kept going. 5 more weeks to the 1/2 marathon!

Photos from Karen with We Are Changing Lives's post 30/09/2015

Perform - Yeah!! We did it! The first of many milestones...completed my first 5K! The Colts 5K. The most I have run is 5 minutes at a time. I've been interval training for a 1/2 marathon. Today I jogged the whole way except for a few seconds at 2 water stops and one other time! Woohoo! Thanks to the best partner, Maegan Connelly Chapman for sticking with me and all your encouragement.

15/08/2015

Perform - well after being gone most of the last 3 weeks, I got back on track with my 1/2 marathon training this week. Today's long run was to be 6 miles in 4 min run/2 min walk intervals. I only went 5! Had to listen to my body. I hate when I don't meet a goal! What about you?
