💔 When heartbroken is an understatement 😭 After all the designing, sculpting, saw piercing, soldering, polishing and applying patina, when all that separates the idea from reality is to set the stone, your bezel pusher slips and hits the most delicate part where the chain attaches to the pendant, instantly killing the project beyond repair ☠️ I’d have to heat the piece to reattach the chain and the opal would never survive that. So I’m just finishing the setting, chopping off the other piece of the chain, threading another through the middle and wearing my heartbreak around my neck. 🤧I have another dendritic opal just as beautiful as this one, therefore I try again.

I 💙this big fat ring so much. I made it a few years ago for myself when simply playing with freeform casting: it’s when you pour molten silver into something random like dried chickpeas to end up with funky little blobs. Surprisingly, it’s also very comfortable to wear.

Algorithm gods are probably mad at me for disappearing from social media for so long, but look I can explain everything! 😜 The exciting news is that I joined Cork Craft and Design 🤩🤩 Starting from April my works will be available in the most beautiful and inspiring shop in Cork. I will also be taking over the shop every now and then so please come say hello. This cute little house with the clock that’s been home for over 3 years is about to get a facelift 🏠 Sad day yesterday collecting my works from the gallery but hopeful that this means new beginnings for the collective coming soon. 💙In the meantime my online shop is business as usual and new designs are coming 🔜

🧡 I bought a bunch of these tiny shadow box frames to proudly display my precious little findings. Like these fantastic seedpods I found this summer in Spain 🧡 Did you use to play the “secrets” game when you were little? When you hide a little treasure in the ground, cover it with a shard of glass, cover all with dirt and then invite friends for viewings (yes I am so old that growing up it was considered absolutely normal for children to find shattered glass and play with it 😆). Clearly nothing ever goes away or gets lost, you just replace broken glass with store-bought frames, no other variations 😉 going to make more of these soon.

Finished, polished and photoshot (or photoshooted??). Very proud with this baby 🥰 the siblings are coming up 🔜 Working on this pendant and other new pieces I thought about creating connections between nature and dreams, and the every day city-corporate-commute-routine life. I’d love my jewellery to be this forever link 🤍

Right out of the kiln silver clay pieces have this satin finish and warm glow. ✨They have already sintered into pure silver but still need a lot of nurturing in order to be ready: a good scrub with brass brush, some burnishing to make the surface smooth, I will also be soldering some sterling silver bits to finalise the design. Metal clay is magic but gosh if it requires a lot of backstage work! 🪩

🐦‍⬛Making jewellery is my way to stay connected to the universe and I hope it connects my customers with art, nature, and creativity, even throughout day to day routine of an adult life. There’s always space for magic and wonder and my jewellery will remind you about it!
🐦‍⬛I create my jewellery with traditional sterling silver and silver clay - an absolute alchemy of a material, soft and malleable like clay yet transforming into purest silver under very high temperature. I love experimenting with my designs, that’s why I very rarely recreate my pieces.

One of the most precious commissions ever: turning sterling silver nursing cups into matching Mom and Daughter necklaces. Creating something so special felt like a great privilege but enormous responsibility too. The design idea came from the daughter, only 6 years old: the 🌀 shape was meaningful to her. I added movement and personalised each cup with Mom’s and Daughter’s initials. Nursing cups are made of very thin silver which makes them incredibly fiddly to work with: one cm too close with the torch and you’ve melted a family heirloom 😅 but silversmithing goddesses were kind to me and it all turned out well to everyone’s delight ❤️ Drop me a dm or email [email protected] if you have an idea of a meaningful jewellery piece, we can brainstorm it together 😉

What did it take to create this pendant? A walk in the woods, a little stick I found on my way, a silicone mold to recreate it in silver clay, some tiny hand-sculpted funghi, and the intention to create a lasting memory from connecting with nature.

It was so sunny (briefly) that I had to pull the blinds down 😎Bright lighting is a friend but not when soldering 👩🏻‍🏭: it’s easier to see the tip of the flame in the dark 🔥

These tiny earrings are created by pouring molten silver into dried chickpeas, might sound ridiculous but it’s actually a thing, this is freeform casting technique. Highly unpredictable hence fun 😁

“Iolite (gemstone)has been used by shamans to enhance their ability to have clear visions. Some legends even say iolite strengthens eyesight.” Sometimes you just tap into the unified field without even knowing, or it’s the unified field taps you🧿I’ve chosen the eye design to set this beautiful iolite gemstone and only later I find out its symbolic meaning. More to this, lately my vision dropped quite a bit and can’t say I’m too happy about it. But while new glasses are on the way, here’s the unified field at work 🙃

UPDATE to my previous post: I did not screw up! 🙌The stone is set, the violet eye is watching🧿these precious vintage dollies are just the right vibe for this mini-shoot. My sister found them and gifted to me ‘just because’ - now they are in the right company 👫
