This is an all levels vinyasa class, not some gimmicky mosh around drink beer and call it yoga which I find not only distasteful but disrespectful to an entire culture. I have been teaching since 2002 and have spent quite a bit of time in India since, which embedded in me a deep respect for the ancient practice of yoga, which is essentially a practice that reminds us of the greater cosmic dance we are all part of. The sutras tell us that yoga is meant to be done in a relaxed state that aims to connect one with their body and combat duality in the mind. Even when people don’t know any of the background or never even heard of the Yoga Sutras or the Eight Limbs of Yoga, yoga still does something magical that enhances the wellbeing of every person who practices it, especially one who sticks with it.

Daily asana results in increased wellness in the body and mind. And although thousands of people have just a “casual” yoga practice, there is a point where some of us called to it will want to learn more, to study the Sutras, and to embrace the fact that the physical practice of yoga is really just the top of the iceberg. But even if you have zero interest in any of that, the physical practice of Asana will benefit not just your body but your mind as well. Believe me, I know. 💫

Exercise is not only good for your body it is also good for your brain. Working out helps you breathe deeper and helps relieve stress. Here are some opportunities to move with me this week. 🤘

Total Body Sculpt: tomorrow/Tuesday 6:30pm (EST). Grab dumbbells or water/wine bottles for this full body, low impact strength training class. 45 mins. 💪

Pilates Mat: Weds 5:30pm. No experience or equipment necessary. All done on the mat. 45 mins. 🧘🏼‍♂️

Ass&Abs: Thurs 10:30am. Cult fave! Core & B***y work with a touch of bangin’ cardio in the middle. 45 mins. 🍑

Black Metal Yoga Sunday 6/6 . A medium paced vinyasa set to a new black metal playlist I make on Spotify for each class, which you will receive along with a link to the class. 75 mins. ☠️

VIKING YOGA: Sunday 3/14 Noon EST / 9am PST! Finally! I've been threatening to do this for a while now as I'm uniquely suited to teach a hybrid class like this with certifications in personal training as well as yoga and other modes of movement. This all-levels Vinyasa class incorporates traditional strength moves throughout the class and is set to epic Viking music, of which I am a big fan. I will make and provide Spotify playlists for each class as I do for my Black Metal Yoga classes and it will be provided to you along with the link for the class. I'm psyched! 60 mins. ⚔️

Total Body Sculpt: Tuesday 3/16 6:30pm EST / 3:30pm PST... Low impact total body chisel. You will need two same size dumbbells or get creative with two liter bottles of water/wine... Soup cans even! We will work the entire body in this 45 minute class. 💪

Pilates: Weds 3/17 5:30pm EST / 2:30pm PST. No equipment or experience necessary. Pilates aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Pilates moves tend to target the core, although the exercises work other areas of your body as well. Expect the moves to involve slow, precise movements and breath cues. 45 mins. 🧘‍♂️

Ass & Abs: Thursday 3/18 10:30am EST / 7:30am PST! Cult fave! Butt & core work with a touch of bangin’ cardio in the middle — & FUN! 45 mins. 🍑
