A nice wee change yesterday doing some proactive training at Smith&Sons coaches of Perth with the handlers and their dogs.
Lately we have been doing a lot of passive training with the dogs that we have in and handlers so was great to challenge them in the way they have to approach and think about the way in which they search and navigate a proactive environment.
Well done teamsπ

This beautiful young lady is 15 month old Wren who is with me for the next couple weeks for an assessment before she hopefully embarks on her journey as a passive/ proactive drug detection dog. The last couple days she has shown great promise. We will update her progress as she moves forward.
Morning,

Many thanks
It was a Lilly day yesterday. Over the last few weeks we have been really busy with client dogs in for training, so yesterday I spent the time with my absolute favourite girl in the world.
Started with a 0500 run in the paddock followed by her favourite towel dry then onto a wee training session on the frames.
Week three for young Skye and coming along nicely. She now is on 4 target odours and her indication is shaping up well and being obedient to the odour.
Unfortunately this week I have been recovering from a chest infection so she back on search frames but is searching well on live bodies also. Progression the next couple weeks will be with her follow which she has already started.
TRAINING DATES CANCELLED.
Due to the continuing heat we are experiencing, we have decided to cancel training dates for this coming Sunday 17th & Monday 18th.
We will resume training on
Sunday 24th at Rattery bowling club Monday 25th at Blair bowling club.
Enjoy the weather and hope to see you all back soon again.
