| Jail inmates in Pangasinan showcase culinary skills in DASH diet competition

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union (PIA) โ Persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) in Dagupan City put their culinary skills to the test in a unique competition promoting healthy eating.
The โKa-Heartner mo sa Kusina: Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) Recipe and Cooking Contestโ was a joint initiative by the Department of Health (DOH) Ilocos Region and the Dagupan Treatment and Rehabilitation Center.
DOH Regional Director Paula Paz Sydiongco emphasized the importance of proper nutrition for all, including PDLs.
