We had the ultimate pleasure of throwing our gorgeous sister and her partner a baby shower at the weekend🩷🤍🩵 The theme was “Oh, the places you’ll go?” by Dr Seuss, so it was only fitting to do a cake adorned in abstract pastel balloons🎈We also made some custom sugar cookies in shapes of clouds and hot air balloons to match the theme💁🏼‍♂️ We can’t wait to meet our newest niece/nephew 👶🏼“Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to great places! You’re off and away!” - Dr Seuss Tim Shepherdson🩵🩷💜🧡💚

Squishmallows on a cake, who’d have thought💁🏼‍♂️🩷 This cake has cuteness in overload, with three hand-made fondant Squishmallows sitting atop an ombré cake, finished with a white chocolate drip, wafer paper details and plenty of sprinkle🩷🩵💜Obsessed with this cutie🙌🏼

Mermaids are always a good time, and this cake is no exception🧜🏼‍♀️🐚🌊 A custom-made shimmering Mermaid tail is making a splash front and centre of this centrepiece, with sprawling buttercream waves crashing down the side💦 All done in shades of purple, pink and blue as per the Birthday Girl’s request💁🏼‍♂️

This cake is giving us ~major~ Secret Garden vibes, but with a modern twist, and we are totally here for it💁🏼‍♂️🌸🍃 Changing up the shape of the cake so that we have a slight domed top, flowers have been placed around the cake along with pieces of raspberries, piped buttercream and cumquat halves, giving this cake an eccentric, artsy edge👏🏻💚 Totally obsessed😍

When the cake just oozes romance🌹♥️ A miniature two-tiered cake with red hearts cascading down the front and completed with lush red roses, we totally love this simple beauty🖤💫
