Thankful to have electricity and only minor damage from the storm. Back to work in the shop! Dang mosquitoes are out at even 3PM, but rather have the rain and temps in the low 90s than 90 days of dry at 110s.

Love how these combo scales make them really pop! Kirinite, g10, and Bocote handle on 1084 steel. What do you think I should do for a handle next time?

A very generous gentleman donated these retired competition stocks to be upcycled into some nice, hard-working, solid-wood knife scales. I'm very excited to see what I can make these into!

Shop has been out of commission for FAR too long. Getting the new shop up and running pretty soon! I cannot wait to make more knives in a dedicated workspace. More shop updates to come!

Got the shop fired up for my yearly church gala to make this little cleave and it did well in the auction! Very glad I could make this, excited to get going again in earnest. Lots of big news coming and I hope it all comes together like I hope!

Happy Halloween! I always like finding new uses for my tools and since my office disallows open flames, I had to improve with my MCH! The dual outputs on the EDC head can let this run all day long in low output mode, giving off a nice glow. A great tool for work and play!

This 3.25" hunting knife is my entry to the build-off #7! This tool is rocking a harpoon tip with live edges on both sides. The snake wood, maple, Kirinite, and G10 segmented handle always makes these competition knives pop. I really enjoy that my friends in push me to learn and improve skills through these amazing, friendly competitions!

Just a little mix of my side gigs! The MCH light is in my pocket almost every day and the dual output option is amazing! The canon 7DmkII is a beast of a camera and excellent in low-light settings! And, as usual, I have my ever-present companion, the shorty knife that just disappears into the pocket! Very inspiring to see the athletes in the race and always a great day to spend working with the family!

Put these segmented handle scales together and they are looking excellent! The knife is coming together real well! These are made of dyed maple, G10, Trustone, and walnut
