We are looking to recruit a full time experienced butcher to work in our farm shop. We specialise in our own Free Range Pork, and locally sourced Beef & Lamb. We pride ourselves in full carcass butchery, and production of sausages and pies. We are looking for someone who will work closely with the owners to drive sales, and expand our range of value added products. There is scope for personal growth, and for your own creativity to shine. There is opportunity for the right person to take on a leadership role within the business.

The successful candidate should ideally have a minimum of 3 years in retail butchery, be highly motivated, and take pride in their work. The job will entail full carcass butchery, setting up and maintaining of shop display, and fulfilling the customers needs.

The successful applicant must have

◦ Good telephone manner

◦ Be able to prepare meat cuts on demand and to display in counters.

◦ Be a team player

The job is based on approx 40-45 hrs/week, over 5 days ( includes weekend work )

We are looking for a shop assistant to join the team in our farm shop. Approx 30 hrs per week, including some weekend work.
Duties to include serving customers, baking off pies, hot and cold sandwich preparation, ready meal production, and general duties within the farm shop.

We have added a couple of stir fry dishes to our range this week. We have salt and pepper chicken, or black garlic beef stir fry. Both ready for the pan. Quick and easy tea!
We also have meatballs, peppercorn truffles, hunters chicken, and chicken Kiev.

In anticipation of potential BBQ weather this weekend, we have relaunched our 3 for £12 BBQ range. (Burgers and marinated meats), we also have a wide range of sausage flavours. We also have some lovely mixed leaf salad bags, grown just down the road, at £1.50 per bag.
