Typewriter Moment is an art studio collaboration of painter, Meagan Healy and fine art photographer, Lecia Badran-Doane. Our first project was starting in 2015: Wish You Were Here, art for tourism and destination marketing.

TypewriterMoment’s Meagan Healy visited Assateague Island, both in Virginia and Maryland. In addition to marsh, forest and beach landscapes and creatures, a notable animal seen is the Assateague Horse, also called ‘pony’, due to their size. 🐴 🐎

I send a watercolor notecard to an aunt in Wyoming who wondered if I would consider coming to Wyoming and painting some more watercolors?
I would love to. Then I asked her, did you know I have done some more watercolor paintings, along side artist friend Lecia, the other half of Typewriter Moment?

Peptober Fun
Sharing a sneak peek crop of a visual… we created a website background a long way back. We used watercolor splotches in our themed colors.
We won’t be using this precise image but we may be using our splotches somewhere… :)

For Peptober 2021 (an idea by AndyJPizza), our first suggestion is to re-introduce ourselves: Meagan and Lecia, the creative team of TypewriterMoment.
We met in Los Angeles at an art show. Lecia’s art show, as a matter of fact.
Lecia (r) has done fine art photography for TypewriterMoment and also creates fine art photography, watercolor, collage, jewelry design, and more. (As many of you know).
Meagan (l) has done watercolor for TypewriterMoment and also creates watercolor, fine art photography, illustration, animation, children’s book illustration and owns her own graphic design business. (As many of you know).
TypewriterMoment began with a travel focus. Over the past year, we both began to contemplate how we could collaborate despite travel challenges and we both came up with a project that resonates with both of us. To be announced soon.

2015. After we went through 18 small towns in Wyoming, taking photographs, doing a little painting and a lot of talking to people in town, we had a few of our remaining days in the National Parks. This is the Upper Falls of the Yellowstone River. Yellowstone National Park. 🏞
