Aloha! You’ve probably noticed a few changes around the stand so we wanted to give a quick update. We have new owners, so you’ll notice a change to our name. We’re working on getting our goods back out into the stand for you all ASAP, so please be patient. We should be back up and running in the next few weeks. Mahalo nui for your patience, and we look forward to continuing to serve the community!

We are so grateful to have provided produce to passersby over several years. Watch for changes in the farmstand. And keep supporting local agriculture in North Kohala.

We had an unfortunate trellis accident. While a new trellis is being constructed we'll be unthreading our existing dragon fruit plants from the old trellis.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁. They really love lava rock walls but there are many trellis designs to choose from.

The ideal cuttings will be about six to eight inches long. At the bottom inch of the cutting, cut all three ridges to expose the fibrous middle. Leave the cutting to air-dry for 7 days. Do not put it in water or water it at all during that time.

When 7 days is over, plant your dragon fruit cutting into a pot or directly into the ground. In about half a month it roots into the soil. If you started it in a pot first, you can transplant it into the soil after half a month. From a cutting, dragon fruit takes fourteen months to fruit from cuttings.
