We are just one week away from the start of the Fall Semester! Here are some tips to help you prepare for your first day of classes!
Meet Brayan Gonzalez, a graduate of the Early Childhood Care and Education Program, who shares about his educational and professional journey. Since graduating from Gwinnett Tech, he’s serving as a Paraprofessional at Grayson Elementary in the Gwinnett County Public School system. Brayan is simultaneously pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at Georgia Gwinnett College. Upon graduating from Georgia Gwinnett, he hopes to become a teacher and have his own classroom. Brayan also offers valuable advice to those contemplating joining this program.

We are excited to kick off Fall Semester 2023 next week! 🍂 Here are some helpful tips to ensure that students are prepared for their first day on campus: ✔️ Access your student dashboard and log in. • If you have issues logging in, reach out to the student IT help desk at [email protected]. • Check your student email. • Locate Blackboard in your student dashboard. (Your classes will be visible on 8/14/23.) ✔️ Review your class schedule in your student Banner account. ✔️ If you're interested in federal or state financial aid: • Complete the 2023-2024 FAFSA if you haven't already. • Review your student Banner financial aid information to determine if you need to provide additional documentation. ✔️ Visit the bookstore website or location to see what course materials are required.
As recently featured on FOX 5 Atlanta, Atlanta Gas Light has recently partnered with us to launch our newest Natural Gas Technician Certificate Program. Graduates from this program will be well-equipped for entry-level roles in the gas utility industry, performing a range of duties as a member of a field operations crew. Gwinnett Tech Welding and Joining Technology Program
Discover the latest in welding and joining techniques with Gwinnett Tech Welding and Joining Technology Program!
Students can earn a MIG (GMAW) certificate in less than 4 months and will have the qualifications to pass a MIG qualification test. Students may also pursue a TIG certificate and a Flux Cored Certificate in just one additional semester. Students may then elect to earn a Welding diploma and will have the qualifications to become a Welding and Joining Technician with qualifications in MIG, TIG, STICK, and Flux Cored Arc Welding. The program is offered at our Lawrenceville campus. Program classes are scheduled for morning, afternoon, and evening, and students may begin the program during the fall and spring semesters.
