π In honor of United Against Hate Week, the 211 LA team is proud to attend the 2024 Hate Crimes Grantee Conference in Birmingham, Alabama. This multidisciplinary forum brings together award recipients from various Bureau of Justice Assistance programs, including the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Program, the Emmett Till Cold Case Investigations, and the Community-based Approaches to Prevent and Address Hate Crimes. The team is excited to attend and collaborate with fellow advocates dedicated to making a difference! π
