Homemade Mixed Berry & Custard Danish❣️😍
Did 6 x laminating folds which was the most time consuming and patience testing part of the recipe 😌
Then a few short cuts like... using ready-made berry compote and a custard made from custard powder instead of making a creme patissiere from scratch 😁
Very happy with the end product 🙌🏻💖

Substituted with buckwheat flour and lactose free cream. Thank goodness there are so many different ingredients available these days to suit dietary needs 😉

Sourdough discard crackers with mixed herbs, sea salt flakes, sprinkled with sesame seeds and pepitas. The simplest recipe to make good use of your discards!
Thin & crispy they are cheese and dips' best friend 😁😁
