Hi friends,

Happy December.

Last month of the year.
Where did 2022 go?

So, I met a woman at my gym and we were talking about making a change because what she was doing wasn’t working.

I could hear the frustration in her voice when we were talking.

And then she reached out to me and said she’s ready to make a change.

This got me thinking about making changes.

At what point in our life do we decide that what we’re doing or not doing isn’t working anymore?

At what point does that shift happen where we’re “ready”?

At what point does the frustration, exhilaration or finally listening to the “nudge” move us to make a change?

Maybe it’s leaving a job we aren’t happy at, maybe it’s leaving a toxic relationship, maybe it’s having a baby or moving to a new place.

Maybe it’s not such a significant a change.

Maybe it’s writing that book, starting that business, rearranging the furniture or buying new, maybe it’s painting the bedroom
maybe it’s changing a habit.

If something is gnawing at you, it likely needs attention.

And from my experience, it won’t stop tapping you on the shoulder until you take a look.

And do something about it.

As you look at the calendar in 2022 with 11 months behind us, what’s the impetus that’s going to have you pick up your foot and take that step forward?

Will you be looking at the calendar when 11 months have passed in 2023 in the same situation?

You’re still at the job you don’t like or the bedroom is still the same color or your furniture has never changed position?

So, what’s stopping you?

Is it that you’re not sure what to do first, where to start?

Is it that it may head you down the path of unknown?

And there’s some fear around that?

Is it a financial or a resource thing?

If something is nudging you, then there’s a reason for it.

Pay attention and honor those nudges.

They come from a reliable source and have great wisdom. 🙏

This is what’s on my heart ❀ at the moment so that’s what goes onto my post.

As we move through this holiday season, let’s all have a bit more patience.

Patience in traffic, lines at the grocery, with IVRs and wait time on hold.

Patience with others.

Let’s take a deep breathe and respond instead of react.

Let’s listen more and talk less.

Let’s practice to ask more questions instead of making assumptions.

Let’s make this holiday season one that we take unnecessary things off our plate.

Let’s slow down, put our devices away and be present with our family, friends, coworkers
.and our pets.

Let’s show our vulnerability and tell people how much we care about them, without expecting any response in return.

If there is a riff or unsolved stuff between us and someone, let’s be the better person and resolve it.

Lets apology and forgive.

Let’s take ownership on what could have been our part.

Let’s reach out to people that we care about that we haven’t seen or talked to in a while, and see how they’re doing.

Let’s check on our neighbors and ask them if they need anything when we are heading out anyway.

Let’s give them a hand bringing in their bags, or clean off their car when it snows.

Let’s smile at more strangers.

Let’s wave at the car to come out in front of us.

Let’s thank the cashier and tell them what a great job they are doing and how much we appreciate them.

Let’s like and comment on someone’s soc media post that has no activity when we see that.

And let’s remember that the holidays are not an easy time for some.

And we never know what someone could be going through


Our small act of kindness could be what makes the difference for them that day.

Let’s scatter love and kindness wherever we go.❀

It’s time to STOP 🛑 playing games!

I would encourage anyone that’s tiptoeing on the edge, to take the leap 🀞🏟‍♂ because it could pay off big time for you!

I am grateful for what I have achieved, yet I KNOW that there is so much more ahead!

So far, my path has included writing a book 📗 & hosting guided tours on how to navigate the app called “Clubhouse”, which I stumbled on after leaving corporate in 2020, unearthing the surprise of me becoming an author.(𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘊𝘞?🀷🏻‍♀)

By using the tips in the book, my followers have grown to almost 10k, which have led to opportunities to monetize as a moderator & continues to open many doors with collaborations.

My influence on Clubhouse has also been significant leverage in growing my business as a Brand Partner with a holistic mental wellness company 🍃

This leap of enrolling in a Mastermind with will help me be MORE visible & effective & reach greater heights. 🧗‍♀

Woah, we just wrapped a 16-hour weekend (NOT including set up and break down) at the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗎 𝗘𝘅𝗜𝗌 in Marlboro, Massachusetts.

They really do a tremendous job with organizing all the vendors and presentations and everything that goes into this kinda thing.

By the size of the crowd, it is clear that people are looking for more ways to live naturally.🍃

The good news is, there are many solutions out there now that can help us heal from the inside out, and the outside in.

Today is World Mental Health Day. 🌎

𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗎.

Without it, we don’t have a good quality of life.

We all have a story & it helps others when we share it.

That’s why I tell my story.
It might offer hope.

It is a reminder that we are not alone.❣

Mental health means feeling the feels


It means honoring our emotions, & not judging them.

Feelings are not “good” or “bad”, that’s what we were taught.

Feelings give us information.

Maybe something we haven’t quite worked through.

Burying our emotions doesn’t make them go away.

They just get buried, only to resurface later in other ways.

Ignoring feelings isn’t healthy.

Often times, they show up in our physical health as dis-ease.

Or addictions.

That was me.

Wearing my smile like a warrior when I was truthfully hurting inside.

My pattern was to avoid feeling


I put on bandaids - over-eating, over-working, substance abuse (w**d)

All in an attempt to not feel.

Finally, I learned how to feel my feels.

I learned to have grace and kindness with myself.

Sitting in my stuff and letting them process.

To love myself fully, embracing all my beautiful flaws.

Maybe that is why I am so passionate about this topic (“𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑚𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑚𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑎𝑔𝑒”)

Mental Wellness is so important.

And there is now a company focusing on JUST that.

𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗶𝗜𝘀:

Hopefully, you find these tips helpful -;)

I am not a travel agent or expert

I enjoy traveling and have picked up some helpful tips from my daughter and friends, as well having my own experience along the way
so I thought I’d share with you :):)

Some of these may be common sense yet good reminders and some you may have better /different ideas- if so, please feel free to share yours, too.

✈ Go to the airport in plenty of time for your flight, (especially international) taking into account weather, traffic, parking, lines etc - it’s way less stressful to chill there than to race for a departing plane.

✈ Bring along a travel pillow, ear plugs and an eye mask to get rest on the plane or at airport if/when delayed.

✈ Wear a comfy sweater or shawl to act as blanket or roll up as a pillow on the plane. Also dress in layers in case hot or cold.

✈ If you’re going to a warm destination and coming back to cold, have a hat, coat & gloves (and shovel & scraper, if appropriate) waiting in your car.

✈ Carry a refillable water bottle for once you’re through security- bring energy or coffee or other fav drink packets to add in.

✈ Food: don’t rely on airport or airplane, you may not have enough time as lines can be long - it can also be costly.

✈ Bring nutritious snacks / food that you enjoy, peanut butter & jelly sandwich (they don’t go bad) fruit (banana, apple), nuts, (cashews, almonds) etc
If healthy choices are not available, you may settle for food that doesn’t make you feel good.

NOTE- spreadables are not allowed through security- eg containers of peanut butter and hummus. You will be offered to go back outside security and eat or they will get tossed.

✈-Supplements - I pack separately by day and bring the print out of what they are (gut protocol) in case they’re needed to show.

✈ Pack any medications in carry-on in case your checked luggage is delayed or lost.

✈ Pack dental floss, toothbrush and toothpaste in your carry-on or purse for plane or airport restroom

✈ Wear sneakers or comfortable shoes-especially larger international airports. It may require a long walk or a train to your gate or connection and you might have to run if schedule is tight.

✈ If you need to make a tight connection, ask flight attendant staff if you can be let off plane first (may do this anyway, as they usually know)

✈ Keep your phone charged for calling Uber or calls when you arrive to destination- Carry a phone charger and headset. Travel chargers are fabulous, bc some airports don’t have working (or enough) plugs.

Hi Community, 🌹

So, here I am writing this post while sitting on a couch in London hanging out with my new seven-week old grandson while my daughter catches up on her sleep.

I feel so grateful that at 63 years old, I feel as good as I do, so I can enjoy these special times.❣

It was five years ago that my friend invited me to take a look at holistic products with a new company that was launching focused exclusively on 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.

I thought, “hey, thanks, I am good- what was this stuff going to do for me?”

After all, I was eating right, exercising, doing the mindful stuff-

Not knowing what I didn’t know.

I recall my anxiety and stress would creep in and take over my day
..

I remember having a short fuse and being snappy and mad at the world.

And no matter what I did, I still had a bulging belly going on
.

So, I thought what the heck, and gave it a try.

Wow! I was blown away!



I didn’t know what brain fog was - until I didn’t have it.

I felt more energy, mental clarity and focus, stress resiliency, restful sleep, my waistline was shrinking and my weight was dropping off, my hormones were being balanced
.the eczema on my leg disappeared, my eyesight got better, I had more motivation
.

Things that got me in a twist before would now roll off my shoulders 🧘🏻‍♀

I could go on and on.

This helped me so much that I put a plan in place to leave my corp job (that wasn’t doing it for me anymore) and got certified in mental fitness and became a brand partner for this company, so I could help others learn how good they can feel!!

It truly is magical what happens when we balance our gut!

Hi friends,

I’ve been thinking about something lately
.

I was having a conversation with some people about trust -developing trust in relationships and we were sharing stories ᅩ

I shared a story that brought me back to when I was in AT&T
Cellular One /Cingular ᅩ

It was early in my career and I was watching how managers were leading their teams


The strong managers, the ones where their teams were really happy and loyal and thriving were the ones where the managers were open and honest and vulnerable with their feelings.

They treated their employees with respect and let us take risks and make mistakes and supported us along the way. (verse those insecure managers who micromanaged, I had those,too)

This respectful way of treating employees developed trust and loyalty within the team.

In 1996 an opportunity for an outside sales manager position became available.

At the time, I had a fairly stress-free and lucrative role doing inside sales
.however, I’d been in the position for several years and I was bored.

Did I want to take the risk and move?
Did I want to depend on others for my paycheck and my “success”?

I went to my mentor at the time, and he suggested that I draw a line down the center of the page and write the pros and cons for going for it. (he called this doing “the Ben Franklin”)

The pros outweighed the cons.

Although I had no outside sales experience to this point, (and it wasn’t a thing to get a job like this with no experience) I went for it anyway.

During the interview, the hiring managers asked me why I wanted the job.

I responded, “I’m not sure that I want the job - why don’t you tell me what the job entails and I can share with you what I can bring and we can see if it’s a match?”

Well, I ended up getting the job and managed an outside sales team of 14 sales reps for seven years.

I have been in multiple positions over the 33 years and that role was the best and hardest and most rewarding one that I ever had.

I put my heart and soul into managing and growing a sales team and got huge satisfaction from developing and helping others grow and succeed. (while learning from them, too).

Nothing felt better than when I would work with the sales reps to hit their goals, or prepare for their interview for their next position and watch them get promoted into higher sales or management positions.

And working together, our team crushed it!! And that felt awesome, too!!

As I was sharing the story about trust, and while these memories came flowing back to me, it really got me thinking
.

After I “retired “ I have been contemplating,” Ok
 so, what’s next?”

And does there have to be “something next”?

What do I want to “do”?

Do I want to sit back, relax, enjoy retirement, travel the world
.✈ 🌎

Hmmmm,

Well, I have been trying things on


I feel like I am in a huge Marshall’s dressing room.

How does this feel, does this fit?
What about this?
Does this feel in alignment?

Last summer, I received a Mental Wellness Coaching Certification from the Functional Foods Institute and then tried the one to one coaching thing


Although I enjoyed it because I felt I was helping others and the results were remarkable, that didn’t feel right to me, like one to one coaching wasn’t my calling.

Building and leading a team.
This feels right.

However, this time it is in my own business as an entrepreneur.

It is with a holistic mental wellness mission and platform that I feel proud to be partnered with.

So, this is what I will be focusing on.

Yes, I will take time to enjoy these golden years
..

At the same time, I will be building a team of passionate humanitarian entrepreneurs who want to work together towards a common goal while making a difference. 🌎

People who want to feel amazing naturally while helping others do the same, and leading their own team


While building a legacy.

Although this may not be for everyone, it is really awesome for the right person.

We have high quality scientifically backed products that are guaranteed to work (and they dooooo) and we are growing like crazy.🚀

We are about to hit critical mass 📈which happens only once in a company, and we have a fabulous communty of good humans doing wonderful things to make this world better.
