Sigil is a word that means sign, symbol or seal. It is most often associated with magic. Not the slight of hand or creating of an illusion type of hocus-pocus, but the conjuring and focus of will to carry out a desire or idea through a psychologically impressional ritual. The ritual is nothing more than using a creative imagination to create a symbol that represents the idea or desire that seals t
he intention. While it sounds simple, it can take a couple weeks or months to create a sigil that is satisfactory. Then, it is sealed by fire, etc. Sigil Brewing is not founded on majic. Nor does it practice such. It is founded on the ideals of its principals of focusing will through taking time in creativity, practicality and the enjoyment of sharing the results of such endeavors. Sigil brewing is the creation of the "witch’s brew” and the “magical potions.” It is the bringing together of the five ancient elements of Water, Earth (grain and hops), Air (Carbonation, etc.), Fire (the boil), and Spirit (creativity) to bring you great quality tasting beer. As sigils are unique and hand crafted, so are the libations.
