Young Ladies of Vision (YLOV) is a community mentoring group for girls in grades 4-8. YLOV is a community mentoring group for girls in grades 3-12.
The Vision of YLOV is to positively impact the lives of girls worldwide by helping them to discover the vision (purpose) for their lives. The Mission of YLOV is to “Build young ladies with character in our community through education, empowerment and service.”
Girls in YLOV will engage in activities based on Christian principles that will help girls know who they are, be productive c
itizens, have great character, increase academic performance, be problem solvers, and explore career options. Girls Circle serves as the base curriculum for YLOV. Girls Circle is a researched-based, highly-valued program that is a “promising program” that is committed to continue to show scientific evidence of the Girls Circle curriculum.*
I am Somebody special. I am a Young Lady of Vision. I am God’s best! I am a step above the rest. I am the head and not the tail, above only and never beneath. I am delicate as a flower, yet bold as a lion! I may fall sometimes, but I get up and keep trying. I make good choices and wise decisions. I will live my life according to God’s vision. I set an example of excellence wherever I go. The light of God’s love I will always show. I am unique, I am beautiful. I am a Young Lady of Vision!
