If you or someone you know would like to teach a class, we would love to have you complete the form. New teachers to LOL will also require a background check and abuse training paid for by us. Class submissions will be due by Thanksgiving.

Hi if you are a registered family, but have not joined our private facebook group, for the enrolled families. Please request us as LOL Families Fall 2023 with the enrolled child's name in the notes. Here is what you need to know - but check the rest in that group if you're enrolled!

PLEASE READ!!! ( Skip to bullets below for those in a hurry.)

Hi fam! We are soooo excited for tomorrow! Woo hoo! The 1st day of LOL is upon us! Have you been hearing the excitement at your house? Have you heard things like "Yay! Tomorrow is co-op and that means it will be a great day!" That's the reason we do this! Post below how excited you are! Blow us away with your expert gif use! and ... Please introduce yourself if you are new! ...or if you've been around and want to help new families get acclimated. It can be helpful to know anyone's story before you show up to a place! right? We've all been there! We can't wait to help you make the connections that will enrich your homeschool experience! This group has provided connection for hundreds of families and we are so stoked to meet tomorrow with all our friends old and new, make new connections, give warm hugs, and to watch our kids with the great big loving community we get to return to each semester!
Come find us at the admin tent tomorrow to say hi, for any questions you may have, help finding classes, or just to sit and hang. Someone will be available throughout the day and as always, you can call us with anything urgent anytime (our numbers are in the files and on the website).

Now here's what you need to know:

#1: DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS! Don't do it, please please please. There is additional parking on the other side of Pavilion 4. It is totally walkable with a path directly to the pavilion in case our lots get full. Park only in approved spaces. The park may not allow us back if we break this rule. If you are parked outside of a designated space we will have to go all over the park figuring out who you are and asking you to move. It'll be a whole thing so don't park on the grass!

#2: HAVE PAYMENTS READY FOR YOUR TEACHERS It is imperative that teachers get paid for their time and supplies. We will be making an effort to log every payment teachers receive tomorrow. You will pay them directly. Do not pay us via Jumbula or Paypal. Teachers have either sent you their payment info or their preferred method of payment can be found in the course descriptions. We are working on streamlining this information in the future and I may have that file ready by tomorrow am so check the comments to see if you can skip looking for it yourself. Either way, Payments in 1st day!

#3: ORDER PIZZA ONLINE OR BY 10AM TOMORROW https://forms.gle/DgrNTto7xbAXyUjX9 This is a change. 10 am is early. Almost none of you have ever gotten your orders in by 10, lol so let's be honest, you're gonna have to order online on this fancy schmancy form Devin made us! If you make a mistake or need help, she's your girl. If you want a whole pie, just put "8" in the box. Do not write whole pizza or it doesn't add to our count automatically (Also don't worry if you did this this time. We already fixed it and your pizza order is safe!)

#4 : REVIEW THESE LUNCHTIME PROCEDURES! Nadine will be available on site for all your lunchtime needs. If you are ordering pizza you must: (a.) Pay when you arrive (not when you try to pick up pizza) (b.) Make sure you get pizza tickets when you pay (yellow=cheese, red=pepperoni) & (c.) Use your tickets to get your pizza at 12:30. Clean up after your lunch. We hope to find no napkins or plates in the park!

#5: CONTACT ADMIN FOR DROP/ADDS! You can message LOL, Admin (Hemma Papp, Melissa Hanna, or Dani Bell), email us at [email protected], or find us in person at the admin desk where we can log your request. We will gladly take care of class drops/adds for you. After Day 1 though, any class you haven't paid for needs to be either dropped or paid for.

#6: READ THE FREE TABLE RULES Read Laura Ness's Free Table post and make sure your kids know (from you telling them)how to respect free table and keep it as the awesome resource it is.

#7: CHECK THE VOLUNTEER POST PINNED Laura has posted a reminder of who is signed up for jobs this week. Everything at co-op is done by a volunteer and it's this community involvement that allows it all to keep running. If you have not picked up a job yet on the form posted, check that out! If you can think of a way you can help out that we haven't thought of, let us know that! There will also be a sign up at the admin desk! More hands make light work! A thousand thanks to all who have participated in these last months to make it happen. You are superheroes for real!

#8: STAY ON SITE. WE ARE NOT A DROP-OFF! Our students are under the care of their parents at all times. Please review our policies for yourself and communicate with your children. If you must leave for some reason, let admin know who you are signing your child out to. also, For younger students consider if they need help getting to class, from pavilions after class, or if they may need help in class.

#9: HAVE FUN AND BE KIND! We are all in this TOGETHER! Homeschooling Rocks! LOL Rocks! WE GOT THIS!

We are still in the process of building our new registration system, but our classes are set and we couldn't resist sharing them with you! Check these out! Hope to see you at Meet & Greet and for our awesome Fall 2023 semester!

We can't wait to see you all in full color! Our photo will look so great! Please make sure to head directly to the big tree at the end of 3rd period so we can get that pic done before lunch. We will hold pizza slinging until the pic is done so expect pizza closer to 12:40 this week. Also since we're such a bright bunch, I bet many of us have tie dye galore. If your kid is in need, drop it in the comments and see if someone has something to borrow! ✌

Spring 2023 Courses – Love Of Learning Families

Our family registration( pre- Registration) is now open!
***IMPORTANT***- Put the email in the preregistration that you would like your class registration link sent to.
IF you are sending a check just message me with a heads up so I know to look for it and I will add you to the list of families receiving registration links.

In order to receive your class registration link you have to have paid the pre- registration fee. We have decided to keep our reduced rate of $25 for one more semester! This fee helps pay our insurance, rental fees and administrative costs. We also use it to put on events like the Winter Celebration.

You will notice a few new things on the family registration:
1- an opt in for your phone number for text alerts. These alerts will be sent out for class cancellations and emergency situations where we need to contact everyone quickly.
2- There is also an option to be included in an LOL Directory. If you choose "Yes" you will see a dropdown where you can add the information you choose.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or you need to change something on your family registration.
