This year’s Writers’ Night Out will again be held at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm in Rochester Hills on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and will feature two Michigan Authors.
Middle-grade fantasy author Dani Resh will be discussing the timeless appeal of the hero's journey theme. She will share insights into her approach to world-building, developing authentic characters, and ensuring consistency when writing a series. She will read from her novel, Clarity of Sight, book two of the Magic Shoe Series.
Author Sylvia Hubbard-Hutula will speak about Goals for Authors: Learn to build up SEO, increase ROI, and create a way put more eyes on your writing and more money for your bank account.
Food, soft drinks, and coffee will be served before the speakers begin and museum tours will be available after the speakers. Networking and social time included for a fun night out with other writers. The Freelance Marketplace Writers' Group meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. ONLINE. Conversation resolves around the Business of Writing with tips, tricks, and trends in publishing and promoting your writing.

She is a thought leader and an accomplished author of seven books and journals.

Susan Sage has published three novels: (Insominy (2015), A Mentor and Her Muse (2017), and Dancing in the Ring (2023). Her writing has appeared in various literary magazines and journals. Sabrina Wagner writes sweet, sassy, sexy romance novels. After twenty-six years of being an elementary school teacher, she left the profession and began writing fulltime. Now she spends her time crafting steamy stories about stubborn, alpha men and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees. She’s been a guest on the Luminance Podcast and was featured in VoyageMichigan magazine. It’s rare to find her without a book in her hand or a story spinning through her head.

Pria Dee is an Indian American author, who lives in Michigan. She has published several children’s books based on her own experiences and observations. Her love of animals and children is the focus of many of her books. She is self-published and has written in some form or the other, for years since childhood.
