DM Gosport Apprenticeship Scheme
DM Gosport offers Advanced Apprenticeships in Mechanical Engineering, this page is to promote the scheme and the benefits of apprenticeship in general.
DM Gosport has been running apprenticeships in engineering for over 30 years, training in excess of 350 apprentices. As well as completing all the requirements of an advanced apprenticeship framework, DM apprentices attend various competitions and complete many projects that enhance their engineering abilities and improve life skills. This page will keep you up to date with apprenticeship vacancies as well as what the apprentices have been up to.
It is with mixed emotions that I leave my role as Apprentice Training Manager. I have faced many challenges in particular the introduction of transformation. The highlight of my job has been watching the Apprentices develop into professional well educated weapons fitters. Deeds was always another highlight knowing that I was able to take part in assisting students to qualify within their trade. I wish all remaining apprentices the best of luck, and would like to thank all of those who have helped me whilst I have been in this role, especially Christine Colthart, who has been an absolute legend and kept me smiling throughout. Christine will be covering for me in the interim, so if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact her. All the best Lynn π
