Recently started jogging again and the aftermath of day one, f'n ouch...sore feet and shins. So I finally upgraded those ratty Saucony's for Nike fitsoles. What a difference no shin pain since. What's on your feet?
Love this! I spent several weeks in a crunch spin class: dark room, instructor never left the bike. Little did I know everything I was doing was completely wrong.
I have long since switched gyms and have a very detailed instructor now. There is such a difference with proper form.

What's your weakest time of the day?
Mine is after work. Those 6-8pm hours used to be a time of stress eating for me. I still struggle some days. To combat it, I head to the gym 3 evenings before coming home. Today, it's a small portion of nuts and perfecting my push up's getting me through it
After a full day of chores, I almost skipped my Sunday run. But how could I say no to this eager/demanding boy? Can I still count calories burned if he dragged me the first mile?

Spin class is in today's history book! Form, form, form! I feel the workout quicker and a more intense burn when I pay attention to my form. It's crucial, drilling that into my own head :). Night guys and gals!

Guacamole is my best food friend lol what's your favorite nutritious food?
So many healthy options to add it to! Yesterday I had a lime chip snack (beware or your chip intake) and black bean tacos for dinner. I would also suggest adding it to salads, toast, sandwiches, etc, etc, etc :) what do you put your guacamole or plain avocados in?
Monday motivation! Spin boot camp is on my agenda today, what's on yours? No matter how long just move!
This morning my banana snack is tasting incredibly sweet, almost too sweet. Got me thinking the less refined sugars I eat the more intense natural sugar is becoming. Anyone else having this discovery?

Chocolate Tofu Pudding 13.5g protein! :)
Makes 2 servings:
1 cup silken tofu
1/3 cup chopped frozen banana
2 tsp coconut flour
2 tbsp organic maple syrup
4 tsp cocoa, i use dark cocoa
I added few chopped walnuts, yum!
We are out of the gym and on our first outdoor run of the year! So what we forgot to log the first part of our run and I had to bundle up...but it felt oh so good. Happy Sunday everyone!
