This narrow 3" handwoven trim is called 'Ribbons', inspired by a vintage piece of weaving from the family archive. We have started with two colourways: 'Biscuit (top) and 'Shell' (bottom)..more in development.

One of the greatest joys in running one's own design collection is the freedom to Innovate and try out new ideas. Equally, one of the greatest frustrations is not having the time to Innovate and try out new ideas because you're so busy running a design collection!

The Lesigny border is a hand-cut blockprint derived from a springtime sketch of wild French Vetch.
Custom colours can be printed on any background fabric or paper!

Not always stripes!
This handwoven trim is created in panels that can be reversed to give a different feel, but using the same design. The luxurious effect is perfect for upholstery and cushion detailing with the wide (17cm) design perfectly proportioned for generous seat and curtain edges.
The Imolé embroidered trim comes in a range of jewel-like colours. Imolé is a Yoruba word that translates as sunshine or light, spot the sunshine 🌞 motif spaced along the pattern!

Pick a colour....
The yarns in our handwoven trims are hand dyed for each batch of weaving. This artisan process means we embrace occasional slight discrepancies in colour as proof of the bespoke process of creating handwoven trims.
There is something rather lovely about a slightly wobbly edge.
Our handwoven trims embrace the imperfections integral to the process of weaving on very simple looms in rural waving communities.
Applying the trims to curtains, bedthrows and upholstery gives the option of hiding or revealing this little wobble!
