Alex Fitterman finally got to race his hornet after having his knee surgery, still in a lot of pain but, well this was the outcome . I had his step brother kk and step sister Sophia go another lap around to celebrate this victorious victory. Proud of ya kid see all the hardness and being a a*z to you paid off. Looks like you found a new sport haha. (All his injuries came from baseball) thank you to all.

Tomorrow is the day the original driver of the 78 Alex fitterman takes his car back and burns rubber in his Stringer he's worked so hard and would like to thank ty garibay for his help in testing and get tour sponsors names out on the track. Come on out cheer him on along with all the other kids and tons of other racecars. It's going to be an exciting night.

Getting one of the 3 cars done still don't have all the stickers done yet but 4 drivers 3 cars 2 classes..
Ty garibay will be back in the driver seat of a hornet after about a 10 yr absence.
Have to give Alex fitterman a big thanks for letting ty race his car until we figure out another option and Alex gets fully healed from his knee surgery (big time teammate support)

Can you tell it's almost race season.
Sophia says thank you uncle Louis and aunt renee. Looks like a long weekend for the team 2 cars caged one more to go.

Race weekend wrap up BCR.. stopped in mountain home to top off for fuel and check cars grabbed cold drink and noticed a tire starting to came apart. Called les Schwab and a little over 2 hrs for a tire yes 1 tire. we where back on the road. Got to the track Alex did his rookie safety laps and he said he was just not fully comfortable yet. He wants to do some practice by himself more. So he asked Scott gilligan to jump in it to see how it does. Kaethyn and Scott went out for practice and kaethyns car was a lot quicker then last outting as Scott had a lot of work ahead of him cars bogging and pushing bad with the help of Randy Wilcox he helped Scott get some of the push out and Molloy crew helping with fuel issues. Heat races where up and Scott worked up to 4th kaethyn running 6th caution came out and Scotts car died of a clogged fuel filter. Ending his heat race and kaethyn finishing 5th.
Found some issues on kaethyns car tried to fix in time for main but as soon as the car was fixed the main took the green. Scott ended up finishing the main in 5th.. Saturday morning came early as scott and his son's drained and flushed the complete fuel system about 10 times they found sandpaper,paint chips,mud,rubber,paper. Put another fuel filter, took carb apart and cleaned and found they where way to high on jets. Luckily the Molloy team had the correct one and both kaethyn and Scott where back up to speed. Scott got 3rd in and kaethyn got 4th in there heat.. both cars needed tlc nothing major. Main even rolled out as kaethyn started 4th and Scott started 5th the battle was on Scott got around kaethyn quickly and was chasing down the field. Mid race Scott jumped into 3rd as late race caution came out. Green flag dropped and he got around second place right on the back bumper of the leader but not enough time to put pressure on him.. all in all a very good night of racing for the team. Scott came home in 2nd and kaethyn 5th. Cars are in one piece and can keep working on learning setups. Congratulations to Brian Molloy on his main event win.

Kks first weekend in new car

What a weekend, night #1 fighting carb issues but got it good enough to get seat time, stayed out of the way and low being it was my first race ever on dirt and these kind of cars.heat put main p5
Night 2 had carb rebuilt (kinda) still not running correctly tho. But it was better started running 2nd gear and stayed clean and got p4 and stayed on lead lap in heat.. main event time we changed a bunch of things made it to 3rd but being I'm still not up to speed dropped to last and keeped digging as I can.. with one lap to go I went into turn 1 and a hub bearing broke ending out night but still managed p4.
Car is still in one piece we got home we will regroup and build on for our next race in 3 weeks at skyline..
