Try the scented hand made items in the gift shop if you want, or just grab a Peace Lily pot for your office. Want to learn about gardening? Ask Chelsea about her upcoming workshops. Trevallan really is a unique rare gem of Ipswich that we need nowadays.

I challenge you, wherever you live - get out and support your locals, create your best life instead of just “living there”. Most people are only scraping the surface of the shops, cafes, parks and adventure in their own region! And what a fun challenge that is, after a year of restriction and locked down mentality!

Melody's dad started the Word of Mouth Music Shop in Ipswich in the 80s. They moved to Stanthorpe and her dad sold it to his best mate - who kept going for over 20 years. She grew up with her dad running a small business, teaching music, always learning how much fun it was to build a life and be with your family more. But she also remembers how HARD small business was and how there was no blueprint and very little support.
This photo was taken two years ago when Melody's son Eli was gifted his first guitar from her dad, which meant a special night as they all sat around playing guitar and chatting.
The Shop My Nation team have always believed small businesses have a special kind of magic, and love remembering those little moments that impact us the most.
What is your favourite special small business moment?
