YuvaSpark
We work to create a 'Bigger, Better and Brighter Future' for the underprivileged
YuvaSpark is a youth-run non-profit organisation, founded in 2018with a vision of enabling teenagers to exhibit social leadership for child welfare and education causes.
YuvaSpark ensured that the children continued to receive education online, during COVID.
By working with the Gram Panchayat, we set up devices with internet connectivity. By providing these devices, we made digital education accessible to 200+ underserved children.
At YuvaSpark, we believe that education is the right of every child and that the lack of resources or monetary support must not be an obstacle to achieving it. We provide scholarships to enable children to go to school, pay their school fees, and procure the necessary stationery and supplements for a holistic and well-rounded learning experience.
The children enjoy a story session by a volunteer.
Volunteers and members of the team visit the orphanage to spend time with the children.
YuvaSpark set up an orphanage in collaboration with another local non-profit, and is currently housing 26 children. We facilitate academic mentorship, provide scholarships, establish digital education and provide infrastructure for the orphanage.
We were successfully able to move 26 children from a small dingy house to a 3,500 square feet home where then now live, study and play happily.
With Lakhs of rupees raised, Thousands of children impacted, Hundreds of families fed, Project Q was a great success.
But, our most significant achievement was inculcating a sense of social responsibility and inspiring nearly 600 teenagers with no prior volunteering experience to work for a social cause.
YuvaSpark invested Rupees 60,00,000 for its COVID relief efforts to provide Medical equipment like Oxygen Concentrators, Oximeters, Oxygen Masks, and other essentials.
This impacted 66,000+ people in 8 districts across 3 states of India.
Apart from this, food & essentials, and masks & sanitizers were provided to 11,000+ people during the first wave of COVID-19.
Our education projects have impacted 5,000+ underserved children.
