🇺🇸 Today in the United States, we celebrate Freedom. Happy 4th of July! 🎆 Amidst the fireworks and BBQs, we also honor the courage it takes to be free – the courage to stay true to ourselves and our beliefs.
✨ I recently realized that staying true to myself is standing in conversation with the divine. No need to walk on eggshells – it means that despite the swagger, power, or any other adjective that fits, I choose to be true to myself. Centered.
Just as Moses and Abraham said when called for a purpose by the divine, Here. I. Am. I want to communicate my thoughts and needs. And while this journey has its ups and downs, that's the essence of it – Here. I. Am.
Let's celebrate independence, courage, and the beauty of being true to oneself. Happy 4th of July from Ahava Z Designs! 🎇

I've been reflecting on the courage it takes to be ourselves—authentically and unapologetically. This is why I founded Ahava Z Designs, where clothing speaks when words are hard to voice. I now feel compelled to step up and embody both—expressing my unique self through every design and every conversation. Living authentically is undeniably a brave choice.

After so many years, I tweak this poem. The last line now reads, “I wear the dress of vulnerability and *know* how beautiful I am.” Vulnerability takes bravery. Let’s be brave together.
