Join the Flying Starlings Wholesome Holistic Education Program!

We have two openings for the 2024-2025 academic year at Flying Starlings, where we meet academic needs and nurture creativity, life skills, and a love for nature. Set on a beautiful flower farm with barns that encourage movement and play, our program offers a unique blend of traditional education and hands-on learning experiences.

*Our program is designed for children ages 9-15, with most current students between 11-14 yrs.*

What We Offer:
10 am - 3 pm Drop Off Time
Tuesdays: English Language Arts, Creative Art Exploration, Science Experiments, and Arts + Cultural Appreciation
Thursdays: English Language Arts, Culinary Classes, and Teen Rec Room
Fridays: Math Tutoring, Classical Music & Art Therapy, History, and Teen Social Play

If you’re looking for a holistic educational experience that goes beyond the classroom, we’d love to have your child join us!

• Pick up a bouquet and leave a donation of your choice.
• Your support helps cover costs for sensory needs, flowers, supplies and essentials like educational materials, gardening tools and more.

This program is free for our teens, thanks to Flying Starlings Inc., but they still have needs. Every donation directly supports these incredible teens, helping them feel comfortable, loved, and empowered.

We’ve seen amazing friendships, connections, and confidence bloom as these students gain valuable skills. It’s a true joy to watch them blossom and thrive.

Today will be bouquets of dahlias and nous and roses. The teens get so excited when they get to create something beautiful. And inspires them when they’re doing the hard work and they are so encouraged. We want to take a moment for a special shout out to THANK those who show up and those who purchase flowers. It’s a small little act that uplifts and breathes love into them. And they think upon it. And they think upon your kindness and your smile and your positivity when you buy flowers from them. Flowers are beautiful and there’s a lot of science to talk about how good they are for you to have in your home. And when you add this layer, this portion, that supported those who don’t always feel supported, it is a wonderful gift you can give to yourself. Because you not only bless your own life, but you bless others. Thank you for being a community that is so lovely and so kind.

We will host every Thursday for the entire summer, rainy days included! Last class was hosted in the sports barn and it was still so much fun. It’s a positive group of people coming together for light to moderate stretching and exercise. What a great way to start a summer day. ✨🤍✨ Kids are welcome to join with adult for no additional cost.

Saturday, July 27th from 6-8:30 pm will be our family art a la cart, where children’s art activities will be provided as well for little crafters!
