We are super excited to announce Nick Birch as the new Athletic Director for Idaho Falls High School. Nick is a alumni of Idaho Falls High School and is an avid fan of Idaho Falls sports. This is a great addition for Tiger Nation. Welcome back to the family Nick.

We need everyone’s support tonight. Please attend the school board meeting if you’re available. We want to show a lot of support for the funding that IFHS is trying to get.

We need community support for the sports complex that is being built south of town. Frontier credit union has offered $3 million for the naming rights. I’ve looked into this deal and it is a great deal for all of Tiger Nation. We need community support to show the school board that we need and want this. Please show up at the school board meeting on Wednesday at 6 PM! It will be held at Compass High school. Bring your kids and your neighbors!

The boosters that are coordinating this are parents like us and they are working so hard to spread the word and get people there!

Saxton Scott will be Wrestling tonight in the finals of the U.S. Open. The finals format is best two out of three. Winner earns a spot on the USA World team! It will be broadcast on FloSports. Let’s go!

Congratulations to DJ Neider and Saxton Scott who had an amazing weekend at the Idaho Freestyle and Roman-Greco state championships. DJ won the state championship in freestyle and took second in Greco. Saxton took second in both freestyle and Greco. Both picked up some HUGE wins over top ranked opponents. DJ and Saxton both qualified for the national team and will represent Idaho Falls high school and the state of Idaho when they compete this June in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Good luck to both of them this week as they compete in the U.S. Open and try to make the world team this year.

HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING: 4A District 6 All-Conference team released The 4A District 6 All-Conference wrestling team was highlighted by state champions and medalists, including four-time champ Mack Mauger of Blackfoot and unbeaten state champion Keanna Conrad of Blackfoot.

Great job to our three tigers that competed at Intermountain Warrior this weekend. There was a lot of steep competition from four different states. All 3 made the podium!

Good luck to all the D91 wrestlers taking part in this year's Tiger-Grizz Wrestling Tournament, which will draw more than 1,300 wrestlers from around the region!
