A couple coats of Advance paint made these traditional cabinets so modern and dreamy. For years all I saw were shaker and flat panel cabinets, and I’m so happy that more traditional styles are emerging once again. Don't get me wrong, modern cabinets serve a purpose and can look great, but I love a good traditional cabinet, especially in a beautiful finish. It really creates such a vibe💛✨⁠

I love a good vignette because It's the perfect way to showcase items you love AND tell a story about yourself through your decor. ✨✨⁠

Curious how to create a vignette? Here we go....A lamp is a great way to start your vignette because it has height! If you don't feel like using a lamp, use something tall like candle sticks. Then place something short and wide next to it like a stack of books, a low wide box, or a pretty tray. Top that tray or those books with something with an unusual, organic shape. Candles, glassware, and small decorative objects are also great items to include in your vignette. Oh and don't forget the art!⁠

One of the most important tips, and it doesn’t just apply to your bedroom, is to add height! This will bring your eye up and down and all around the space, and adds a ton of interest. The best way to add height is to add tall table lamps, sconces, or pendants over the nightstands, and by adding artwork over your nightstands, over your bed, Or both.💜
Placing a tree or tall piece of decor into a corner is also another great way to add some height.

Tip number two is to use miss matching nightstands. In this case the nightstands should generally be similar in size, Color, and shape, But having two different nightstands can be so much more interesting. I also love using a night stand on one side and a small desk on the other. Incorporating a cool texture or design in the desk chair is just another great way to make things interesting.

Tip number three is to mix a variety of textures Into your bedding. This will keep your bedding interesting while sticking to a somewhat neutral color scheme. You can always add Color and fun patterns through throw pillows which are easily interchangeable.💜✨

Is this not the cutest little girls bathroom you’ve ever seen?!! Cece’s bathroom is finally done and I don’t think I could be more excited! Yes, I’m way more excited than she is because A) I’m obsessed with it and B) thrilled to be done with the renovation. Cece was very into the idea of doing pink cabinets and I’m so glad I listened. They are totally the cherry on top in this space. Sometimes the risk is totally worth the reward which is so true in this case. 💕💕💕
