Blue hidcote! One of my favorites! They are such a pretty dark purple color, however this is a culinary lavender so the scent is very sweet, yet faint compared to other lavenders.

Beautiful Spanish Lavender plants are sold at supermarkets and big box stores. They resemble little purple butterflies. However, they won't survive the winter outdoors in the northeast, so bring them inside. When planting lavender in your garden, opt for English Lavender!
