Hello my lovelies, I've had so many messages today I thought I'd pop an update here for everyone.
So for those of you who didn't know, my little George the poodle has been unwell recently. He had a couple of odd episodes that we thought could be seizures. After blood tests and examinations at our vets, and discovering that George has gone blind in his left eye, we were referred to Langford for further tests and possible scans as our vet believed he could have a brain tumour. It's been a awful couple of weeks but today we went to Langford.
The amazing vets at Langford took a good look at George and did some investigations and they believe that it's not the case that he has a brain tumour, but that he has a neurological movement disorder, that it's unrelated to his blindness and he can happily live with it. It's an absolutely huge relief for us 😭🥰❤️
There are other investigations to be done moving forward, as his bloods did show some liver abnormalities that they want to check and he's being referred to an eye specialist, but for now, it's good news, it's very good news 🥰

Good morning my loves, quick update....
Although I do feel like I'm starting to turn a corner, as the head pain is a lot less today (hoorah!) I am still coughing and crackling in the lung area, so still not well enough to be back to work Monday 😕
Was really hoping I would be. Obviously the longer this goes on, the further I fall behind 🤦‍♀️ it's not looking good for being able to catch up and you have no idea how much stress that puts onto me 🤦‍♀️ I already have a pretty full diary and having to try and squeeze in another full week of clients I've had to cancel, is just proving impossible. Like I said, not enough hours in a day!
I'm taking this one day at a time now, because I don't want to have to cancel if it's not 100% necessary. If I have had to cancel your appointment, we may have to just draw a line under it and start again moving forwards as normal. I'm genuinely so sorry about all this. I'll keep you posted as I hopefully recover quickly. Again, thanks for your understanding you lovely lot. ❤️

Good evening ladies, you lot are so bloomin lovely, I've had soooo many messages today in my inbox, checking in on me, I honestly couldn't message you all individually, so will pop an update here.
This morning I woke feeling really dreadful again, worse than yesterday if I'm honest. I called my GP and explained how I was feeling and they got me in within the hour. My gp sent me straight into Weston hospital 😬
They were worried about the amount of pain and pressure I was feeling in my head and eyes and said the type of virus I have may cause my brain to swell (😱 scary, had a little cry).
So had to have CT scan. Thankfully all ok. They also did a chest x-ray as was worried I may also have pneumonia. I do have a lung infection and my bloods also show signs of inflammation. The hospital were amazing ❤️
Sent home with antibiotics and told to rest without fail. I'm back home now and looking forward to feeling better 😁 I'll be in touch soon to sort all your appointments...again 🙄🤦‍♀️. Thanks for being so understanding and thank you all for checking in my angels # #

LONG POST ALERT...PLEASE READ....
Hello my lovely ladies, I had a lovely few days away, got home Sunday. Sunday evening started to feel ropey and went downhill fast! Been in bed ever since with every possible covid symptom there is. I'm so sorry that I've had to yet again send out more messages to cancel your appointments. It just feels relentless right now. I am resting, can't do anything but rest to be honest and doing all the things I should be doing, fluids etc.
I absolutely hate having to say this, but I know some of you were booked for holiday/birthday/special event nails, it might be worth considering going somewhere else this time 🙈 because I'm already chokka from the last lot of cancellations and am constantly playing catch up, therefore working ridiculous hours and not giving myself time to get properly better. I don't want you to miss out on pretty nails for your special occasions, there are not enough hours in the day!
Huge apologies once again for the inconvenience, I wish I knew why this was happening, I guess sometimes we just don't realise how run down we are 😞
Thanks for your constant understanding and lovely messages. You guys always put me first and I really appreciate you ❤️
