9th EOA General Assembly and Open Days
After a successful 1st edition in Florence in 2023, the European Opera Academy is delighted to hold the EOA Open Days Conference 2nd edition in Maastricht. It is a 5-day event where professors, professionals and students will share knowledge and experiences to expand their vision on the most complete art form: opera.
Prior to the Maastricht gathering, students will have had the chance to attend online sessions on specific topics related to their career development and professionalisation.

Ayer comenzó el evento anual de la European Opera Academy en Florencia. Hoy se celebra la asamblea con los representantes de todos los centros pertenecientes a la EOA, nuestra querida Charo Vallés del y a las 19h de la tarde podremos disfrutar del concierto de gala en el que participarán los diferentes dúos de voz y piano de todas las escuelas con la participación de nuestro alumno Oscar Velázquez y el profesor de repertorio Pablo García-Berlanga, que volverán a actuar el domingo por la tarde en el Teatro Niccolini. Además, Pablo ofrecerá dos días de masterclass sobre la zarzuela y la canción de concierto española el lunes y martes, para finalizar el evento.

Call for internship Arranger Offenbach's "La Périchole": Our colleagues from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen are looking for a composition student or recent graduate to arrange the original orchestration for La Périchole. The arrangement should be made for an ensemble of 11 players, and it will be performed in a fully staged production by KCA voice and instrument students in March/April 2023.
The internship will take place under the mentorship of Mo. Stijn Saveniers, an expert in French operetta and conductor for this production of La Périchole.

The module is focused on the interpretation of short musical forms such as songs or other chamber pieces, allowing to enhance vocal technique and musical imagination. It is based on collaboration of two or more participants working as a duo (singer and pianist) or in a trio (singer, piano and solo instrument/ 2 singers and the pianist) under the direction of prominent artists from the area of cameral music.
