I wrote 24 pages of lyrics for this one song 🫠 ✍️

When a song is this deep, comes from such an emotional place, a place of vulnerability you just have to let the creativity take over and take you where it wants to go, as though it has its own life force.! Whilst the message of Goddess is empowering, the place that I wrote it from was pure vulnerability.

So if you haven’t listened to the song in full yet - this is your reminder to do so… 🥰

I know most people write their lyrics on their phones these days but there’s something vibrationally different about putting pen to paper. It transports me to another world almost where it’s like I’m swimming through the music and the feelings and the words just flow through my wrists to my hands to my fingers to the page…! ✨

There are so many sections to this song, I actually had to create a ‘radio’ version which is what you hear now.

But ‘Nora’s version’ will be coming soon too 🥰 more on that another time…

I do intend to share the journey of Goddesses’ creation in more detail, introduce you to all the beautiful people who helped me, share more BTS around arduous process in releasing a song, but having to manage several scenarios at once in life means it’s taking me a little longer to share that I’d hoped, but I’m trying…!

You are, keerong road, blakebrook, meadow drive, surrogate, that motherly comfort, all these years since I lost mine.

Some days I feel like I’ve been in the eye of a storm and as the clouds are finally starting to clear I’m picking through the debris and I see that maybe a shake up was needed to make way for newly collected treasures in my life…be them in human form and otherwise ✨✨✨ 🎶 🎶 🎶

Many moons ago the incomparable photographer Georges Antoni shot this gorgeous pic of me (amongst others!) - looking at it now reminds me not to let another moment go by without remembering that I was, am and shall ever remain a Goddess 👑 and that I need to give myself grace and show myself love - as much love as I have for all of you beautiful humans that I am so lucky and grateful to be surrounded by ❤️ 😘

Despite it no longer being my birthday, I want to say a belated massive thank you so much to all of you who sent me wishes, thoughts, prayers, presents and your presence in & around my birthday the other week. I haven’t been feeling well but I’m coming back to life now 🦋
