Jimbles Jim Jams is a fun, luxury British kids pyjama brand conceived, designed and manufactured by a truly international collaboration of people and ideas. To date we have had input into the creation of our kids-wear from the UK (conception, logo, brand ID and labels) Bosnia (designs) France (piping & draw-strings) Italy (wooden buttons), Poland (manufacture) Portugal (fabric) Packaging and Soci

al Media Design (Zimbabwe). In fact Jimbles Jim Jams owes it's name to Facebook. Created by the owner of an online nightwear retail store, James played what was Scrabulous every morning before beginning work with payers all over the world. player Emily played every day and nick-named James, Jimbles. He in turn named her Milly Moo. And so the naming of Jimbles Jim Jams was the result of their online repartee whilst playing Scrabulous/Lexulous. So if you were ever wondering who's Milly Moo, now you know! Further credit for the shaping of Jimbles Jim Jams goes to Gerry, who has overseen much of the creative and strategic aspects as well as involving nieces and nephews into campaigns you will see emerge in the future
This has been quite a journey with a number of false starts, and to date has been some 5 years in the making. The original idea behind Jimbles Jim Jams emerged from retailing other kids brands and assessing the sector and what was available. It makes sense that for many, a product that its consumers grow out of quite quickly would be seasonal and not need to last forever. But Jimbles Jim Jams wanted to create long lasting pyjamas really well made. We had a happy find in our mill partner whose reputation for the finest fabrics is celebrated in its sector. made in a fabric which would last and last. A product that could be handed down to new brothers and sisters if you like and hopefully even onto other generations. With this in mind all elements of the design have been carefully thought through to make our pyjamas an investment that supercedes growing ages. There will be plenty of fun prints to come but the other idea behind the styling was to balance great colours for kids with a more grown-up styling. Adults pyjamas for kids if you like. There are plenty of cartoon pyjamas available but they often like the fabric they are printed on, have a life-span. All the companies we work with have excellent reputations in their respective sector. And our first manufacturing has been in a small family owned factory in Poland. Their enthusiasm has been essential and their attention to detail and input have fitted right into the ethos of the brand. Thank you to all our partners from all over the world for their help.
