I just wanted to take a moment to share our sweet little love with you. This is our girl, Addison. 🐾 She crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge the week of Thanksgiving, just shy of 14 years. She was our best friend and so amazing with our kids. We’re heartbroken, but at peace knowing she’s not sick anymore and eating all the cheeseburgers she wants in puppy heaven. 🥰

My reason for sharing this is to tell you how honored I am to make your portraits for you. This loss has hit us hard and it’s made me stop and reflect on those of you that have asked for a portrait after losing a fur baby, and even those who still have their fur baby to love on. ❤️ I know how special these pieces can be. They are something we can cherish for years to come, a sweet reminder of our little loves we were so blessed to call family. So truly, thank you so much for choosing me to create these for you. I will continue to honor your fur babies for as long as I am creating these special portraits for you. 🖤🐾

*NOTE: The best photos for these are well lit, straight on shots of the pets face or upper body. It is best if the photo has somewhat of a contrasting background - ex: black dog, lighter background. My software picks up on that best. I can often make it work if you don’t have the perfect photo, but the criteria listed above is best case scenario.

Really enjoyed making some of these pet portraits again this past Christmas season! I will be sharing a bunch that we created! How cute is this sweet pupper?!!

I’ve also decided to open up my orders to take a few portrait orders each month! As I mentioned in a previous post, we have twin baby girls now so it’s a bit crazy around here. Because of this, we will be limiting the number we can take. To order, for now, just shoot me a message! ❤️🐾

Another offering for this holiday season is our kids artist signs! Take your favorite drawing from your littles and turn them into these sweet keepsakes! These make amazing gifts for Mom, Dad, Grandparents, Teachers… any special person in your life!

Well, I figure I better give you all a heads up about what’s been going on around here!!! We’ve been a little quiet around here bc we’ve had a pretty insane past 6 months.

We’ve been through COVID, quarantines, biopsies, surgeries, a million Dr appts, house searching...and finally finding out we were pregnant with TWINS!! Things have been a little nuts if you couldn’t guess. 😉

We are due with TWIN GIRLS this summer! We are over the moon & Henry can’t wait to be a big brother!!

What does that mean for 815WoodDesigns? Well, we aren’t 100% sure yet. I have been reducing the amount of orders I take and have temporarily paused selling signs in Urban Farmgirl as well. I’ll continue to take a limited amount of orders until I physically can’t anymore, at which point I’ll be sure to make an announcement! Once babies arrive, I’ll take some time off and we’ll reassess how to move forward with a sign business, a new house, 2 babies, a 5 yr old boy and a full time working hubby! We’ll figure it all out. It’ll just be a learning process and we’ll be sure to keep you all posted as we go!

For those that have inquired about Main Street Market... Sadly, 815WoodDesigns will not have a booth this year. It just wasn’t in the cards for me physically to devote the amount of time and dedication Market prep deserves. If you’ll be there, I *WILL* be hobbling around (or riding in the golf cart 😆) working and helping Urban Farmgirl put on a fabulous Market!! So if you see the super pregnant lady in the golf cart, be sure to say Hi!!! 👋🏼😆
