Day 2 of Radiation! Met with Doctor today. All is well! Four more to go.I can't begin to explain how I appreciate your prayers!
It's been 8 years since I started this group and shared that I had Prostate cancer. I pretty much shared my whole journey. Here is the latest update. Since having my Prostate removed, we discovered that I still had some microscopic cancer that wasn't seen during the surgery. It may have come from somewhere else. In any event I was on hormone therapy for years, along with the side effects. My numbers were 0.00 throughout. The hope was to stay at 0 after a series of treatments. I still had numbers after waiting a year after the last treatment. I had a CT Scan, Bone Scan, and nothing showed up. Finally, a PET scan and it showed the cancer is on the # 6 and #2 rib. The doctor told me her can radiate it once and for all. Apparently, it's been hiding right there for years. You wouldn't think one would be happy to find cancer!
The doctor told me that he just finished treatments on other patients successfully! Thank God!
