📸 I never dared to even dream that I would ever publish my photos in National Geographic magazine.
Today, I am extremely excited to announce the release of my first article - Brisanje meja, published by Revija National Geographic Slovenija in May 2024 (issue 5 - Incredible OCTOPUSES).
Just as octopuses masterfully merge with their environment, images that erase borders are also proof that photography can be an ethereal medium of merging different styles with the environment.

👉The combination of fashion and classic portrait-documentary photography can be extremely interesting and unique, as it simultaneously combines the aesthetics and depth of documenting a person's story. My photographs are not classic portraits, as the strength of light and composition are planned and controlled with purpose in relation to the subject. With a portrait-fashion-documentary approach in photography, I want to show the character of people, their story and current mood.

The use of an artificial light source in photos allows me to emphasize certain characteristics of a person, to play with different photographic styles and allows me to be completely creative. Although the photos are about well-thought-out compositions and the sophisticated use of make-up and costumes, I always photograph people at the moment when they least expect it, because I believe that this is the time when their true "I" comes out.

📸 My motto: "You can't photograph someone who isn't a professional model unless a real bond and trust between the photographer and the subject has been created first."

The Svínafellsjökull Glacier is one of the many ice tongues of the huge Vatnajokull Glacier in southern , which alone occupies 8% of the country.
Svínafellsjökull is 8 km long and 800 meters wide.
