I tried to enter personal information about myself but Facebook keeps deleting it because it doesn't fit their agendas, so you'll have to either ask or guess.
New WWII Memorial at Warbird Park, Myrtle Beach.
More pictures, this time at the Myrtle Beach Dragon Boat Festival Races. No muss, no fuss with traffic or parking....was right across the street. I shot 1,035 images and these are the best. ALL of them used my 1000 Protocol: 1000mm lens, 1000ISO, 1/1000th sec shutter speed, down to 1/750th for a while.
I took out the 1000MM Reflex lens today and wandered around the neighborhood then ended up at the pond across the street. Descriptions with the images.
Last night from here in Myrtle Beach. In the upper left hand corner you have to look closely and you'll see a small red spot. That's the planet Mars.
I've received 100 reactions to my posts in the past 30 days. Thanks for your support. 🙏🤗🎉
Christmas around Market Common.
Tree lighting by Santa himself at the Market Common.
Thursday September 29 2022 Market Common and Myrtle Beach await the arrival of Ian. Images shot with a Nikkor 15MM F5.6 and using an R60 red filter for contrast in the sky.
I spent some time in downtown Myrtle Beach tonight. Now that the seasonal crowds have left, so has the majority of the riff-raff that preys upon them, so I felt a bit more comfortable walking around with a huge camera.
More stars and another gorgeous night here in MB.
Just another beautiful night spending some quality photography time under the stars.
Trying to get better star and Milky Way pictures here in MB, but it's just not working. Too much background light pollution. Now, if this were in New Hampshire, and a shot I got sticking my camera out the car window and having it rest on the top of the glass. No tripod.
Starry, Starry Night....
Today at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center was "South Carolina's Largest Garage Sale," with over 250 vendors and the promise of "something for EVERYBODY!" Other than my camera, I walked out empty-handed.
A gentle reminder.
And I'm STILL on the air, 40 years later.
Warbird Park, Market Common, at sunset tonight.
Someone suggested I should change my business name to something that is more in step with the times:
Tonight at Market Common
Only until it comes time to take inventory and get serial numbers for business insurance purposes does it become clear how much gear I've accumulated over the years. And this DOESN'T include many old lenses, film cameras, strobes, umbrellas, tripods, cases, etc. OR the medium format gear I sold before I moved to SC.
Just a Market Common neighborhood sunset tonight.
Last night at Broadway On The Beach
I am seriously thinking about coming out of photography retirement and opening up my business again but down here in Myrtle Beach. I belong to a MB group and a lot of people ask about who's a good family-portrait style photographer, and I honestly just can't believe the people, the examples nor the "companies" who claim "me, me, me." Incredible.
With all the thunderstorms with us for this week, and into the next few days, I figured I might as well make the best of them. From last night (Thursday July 14 2022.) Taken from Market Common Myrtle Beach, SC.
