We have another friendly today against Reserves, being played at Melbourne Park in Carlisle. 1.30pm kick-off.

It should be a good test, and allows us to build on the good work being done this preseason.

Good start to our preseason friendly calendar tonight against Greystoke fc Reserves.

We had a lot of new faces in the squad and most playing with others for the first time. A brilliantly positive night.

We continue on Saturday with our second friendly match.

We have 20+ players available, so will be a great opportunity to get minutes under our belts.

Our merger with Eden Valley Football Club is ending, and we’re restarting for the 2024/25 season.

We’re training 6.30-7.30 on Tuesdays at the Tollbar from now until the end of the season.

Good come back from 4-0 down, and an especially tricky friendly with no ref turning up.

Our first preseason friendly tonight ended in a 6-1 win against Penrith Royal.

It was a great run out and performance in very hot conditions.

Best wishes to the Royal player taken to hospital.

Pre-season training commences tonight. 6.30pm at The Toll Bar Field. All existing and new players welcome. We’re a friendly bunch!

Good battling performance for us tonight away at ‘Reserves’ as we win 6-5.

We had several enforced changes to the squad, but the lads took to the task brilliantly.

MATCH DAY

We travel to Reserves today in the rearranged Peter Daws Memorial Shield fixture.

Kick off 1330pm.

After leading 1-0, we fell to a 3-1 loss at home to today. It was a hard fought match, and could’ve gone either way. Good effort from the boys though.

GAME OFF

Our first game back in 2022 is today and we’re away at Reserves, 1330pm kick-off.

It’s our last training session of 2021 tonight. 7-8pm at Newton Rigg. We start back on the 4th January at the same time/place. New players welcome.

We’re looking for a first team coach/manager to take charge of team affairs and training.

Today we take on Reserves in the Benevolent Trophy. 2pm kick off in Kendal.

We throw away a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 against today.

The small match day squad today killed us, but we should have put this match to bed early on.

Oh what a night!

We lose 7-0 to a talented Carlisle United Football Club youth side, but my word, we’re proud of the club tonight.
