I teach essential skills for those impaired by a bipolar disorder, using a combination of real-world
For anyone who Creates for a living, or has aspired to this, it is hard to put into words how deceptively “simple” a finished masterpiece looks in final form.
🎨 What could pass you by as just another book in my library is in reality a TWO DECADE journey of very hard-won wisdom and teaching for my mentor in doing life with a brain biology (manic-depressive disorder) that seeks to destroy her/us at every chance it can get.
So it’s no small thing to revisit an ENTIRELY REFRESHED text that re-oriented my world right side-up, when not that long ago I was like a battered sailboat tossed on the seas of unfiltered mental illness.
In this second edition of “Take Charge of Bipolar Disorder: a 4-Step Plan for You and Your Loved One’s to Manage the Illness and Create Lasting Stability”, the verdict is in. Not a single published work can stand above or even next to the labor that has poured into my new daily reading companion that you see here.
It was a landmark undertaking and an instant classic at first printing—a rare feat for any Creator. And yet as I walk back page-by-page into the revised version, I see the timeless practicality of these chapters as they are now invigorated with powerful knowledge unearthed by the author herself.
I’ve spent a LOT of time, labor and money applying what I’ve learned in these pages. And the results Always speak for themselves. Why shouldn’t Everyone with such extreme challenges share in this fruitful celebration?
Let me then amplify Julie’s message to You, the Reader: Mastering your Mind is the key that unlocks the treasure chest of a life well-lived. Start wherever you are, and take it one informed step at a time. You too can have your place at the table restored. You can have both intense mood swings and HONOR amongst your peers and family.
If anyone thinks not, let them say it to my face. I have Dignity because of Julie Fast. This book is where it began. And I’m still just getting started! 💪🪴🕺
