Born in dancehalls & speakerstacks of the inner city metropolis, we are the tribe of Concrete Junglists, worldwide apparel division.
Aperture x Concrete Junglists tee. Our mission has always been to create community, our first foray into to this was the DnB night Aperture, alongside High Contrast it put Wales on the map. 20 years on it has a new captain, our friend so we had to collaborate. So to bring both our communities together we have launched a limited edition collaboration, everyone who buys a tee will get their name on our guestlist for the night on the 23rd of August with and come hang out with us.
Concrete Junglists latest hits.
I feel sorry for the people who never go to fat raves. Tee in store.

The most exciting part of running a streetwear brand is when you get to build cut and sew items. Most items that are made by a streetwear brand are ‘Off the Peg’ meaning the pieces come as standard and it’s your finishing touches with artwork etc that set it apart. With cut and sew you go right back to the roots, choosing fabrics, cutting panels and bringing it all together with design. The ‘Scrambler’ jersey is influenced by the jerseys you see in Moto-cross or scrambler bike races. This lightweight jersey would be colourful and bright to stand the racers apart but also incorporate the number and the sponsors as to make identification easier in the super fast sport. One of my favourite things to do is take sports silhouettes and re-imagine them as part of a Concrete Junglists team; Football, American Football, Ice Hockey, Baseball and Basketball have all had the team treatment and every new piece gets better as we refine the process. I love this monochrome long sleeve, the fabric is the same waffle press, closed mesh that is traditionally used in BasketBall Jerseys, that lightweight, high wick that would be amazing in raves as well as sporting occasions. The new branding hits so well this piece, the time I took getting it right has really been worthwhile and it’s the first time all the elements have come together to show the full picture. These are always the pieces that people demand re-presses, as they either missed them or have gone too hard wearing them. With only fifty-made, these will be future collectors pieces.
I am so proud of this flyer on so many levels. One my son picked up a camera for the first time last week and shot some pictures of the Garden has been working so hard on, the photos came out so well I had to use them on the Aperture flyer. Two, Aaron aka is now taking over it’s so well deserved and he really needs the whole local community to rally behind him to make this venture successful in such precarious times for dance music. Thirdly it’s and Che has been so close with the Aperture family for years and it’s been a long while since Technamatic have graced the Aperture decks, so their USB’s will be oozing summer goodness. Four it’s back on the roof, mid summer, bank holiday weekend, everything is perfect. Ticket link in bio.
I literally love this new piece, go to the website to peep it in full.

Designed the new logo, here is the thinking behind it. The weird shape is actually a lower case ‘a’. Made up of two parts, the circle is a record and the rectangle is a USB. These two elements are to represent how long Aperture has been going and the technological changes it has seen and adapted too. Aperture 2005 - Present.

Some news that makes me so so so happy!! As a lot of you know my first love and go at forging my name into drum and bass culture was as a promoter. My night Aperture became synonymous with good drum and bass music in Wales. Sadly with the emergence of my brands DroneBoy and now Concrete Junglists the night fell off. I’m not bringing it back, but I know someone who is and they are literally the best person I could think of to resurrect this beautiful community. More on them in the coming weeks. They asked me to redesign the logo to launch the event they have on Friday 23rd August to bring it back properly. So what do you think of the new logo? Go link them at and buy a ticket to the first event, the link is in their bio. WoiYoi!!!!
Not sure why any other company wouldn’t do this deal. When your producing clothes its about reaching scale, selling enough of a product to bring the price of the individual items down. This is nearly impossible for an artist, especially hard if you’re an artist running a small business. The deal is though, that I will guarantee you a half price tee every month and you believe in the future designs I’ll produce. I get to order the level of organic tees to bring the individual product price to a level that half price makes sense and you don’t ever have to worry about buying t-shirts again and support a homegrown independent business.
This deal is only available four times a year for 24 hours and of those 24 hours there is only four left, maybe less, the deal closes at midnight. www.concretejunglists.com
The ‘96 club is now open for 24hrs only. 96 people can have half price tees for life. Will you get in?? Link in bio.
