It's been a very difficult few months for all businesses, especially small ones like ours.
But we are back and open for orders!

Some people call them flaws, I call them beauty spots!

This is a close up of one of the very first live edge tables I made. It was a birthday gift for my Dad. Over the course of the year I've finished and refinished this table top 3 times before I got this result.
I'm glad I kept this though, it's a very special find.

What's your story? Where did you come from? I wonder what this tree looked like, which forest it grew it, which birds lived in it. What's your story?

This was one special table. I picked out this specific piece from the bottom of a pile. After a lot of love and care, this is what it looks like.
I couldn't let go of this one and had to keep it for myself!

Wood grain at it's best.

Wood grain, as unique as fingerprints and personalities!
It's something that has drawn me towards this material, long before I started woodworking full time.
Whenever I'm stressed out and worrying about running a business, I take a break, sand something and look at this beautiful grain. It makes all my worry go away.
We will be doing a series of pictures that show off this beautiful grain.
