Here are some tips for a healthy start to the school year:

-a new toothbrush
-make a habit and leave plenty of time for brushing after breakfast (sticker charts work as great reminders!)
-send your kids to school with water
-floss picks in their backpack or lunch bag
-pack healthy snacks such as carrots, cheese and fresh fruit. Avoid sticky gummies and candies
-schedule your child’s back to school dental cleaning with us!

Brittany, RDA

Brittany has been Dr. Fowler’s right hand girl treating cavities for the past year at our Lenoir City office 🦷

She received her Dental Assistant in 2017 from Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
She loves spending time with her family, going on new adventures, camping and being involved at her church.

We are thankful Brittany chose to be a part of our team! 🪥

Kimberly Gordon, BA, RDA

Kim received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Mississippi. She then went on to receive a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a pre-dental concentration from University of Tennessee at Martin.

She really enjoys watching anime, listening to music, and competing in pageants. She recently competed in the Miss Tennessee USA pageant back in March as Miss TriStar USA 👑
Her favorite anime is One Piece.

Kim has been with us for 2 years and we are thankful for her encouraging spirit and patience! 🦷

Dr. Malone is spending this week at the AAPD conference in Canada learning and expanding her dental knowledge to better serve our patients. We can’t wait to see what she has learned 🦷

Summer time and being out of school can really mess up our routines! Here’s a helpful schedule.

1. When you wake up- brush for two full minutes. All sides of every tooth.

2. Before you go to bed- brush for two full minutes. All sides of every tooth. Floss. Fluoridated mouthwash.

Mandy Warren, Front Office Coordinator

Mandy is originally from Pensacola, Florida. She attended Pellissippi State Community College.

Mandy enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.
She spends a lot of her free time attending sports events for her son and sister.
She has a 9 year old son, Carter and is raising her 14 year old sister, Emily.

Mandy is the first smiling face you see when you come into the office and we are appreciative of her positivity and joy 😬

Madi moved here from Florida and graduated from Dental Staffing School in 2021. She is also in nursing school at night! Wow!

Being an aunt to her 1 year old niece, Kacey, is her entire world 🌎

Madi has been with us since November and she fits perfect with our Lenoir City team! 🦷

Did you know that juices, such as apple and grape, are almost as acidic as BATTERY ACID?

Neutral pH is 7.0 (tap water is 7.0… PERFECT!)
Battery acid pH is 1.0 (extremely acidic)
Most juice pH is around 3.5 PLUS 13g of sugar per serving. This is closer to battery acid than water!

Cavities begin to form at a pH level of 5.5 or lower in the mouth.

Mo graduated from Youngstown State University in Ohio with her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene.

She has recently found a love of baking, especially with sourdough. She loves to travel and take her mini Aussiedoodle on walks.

Mo has been with us for 2 years and we love having her at our Alcoa office! 🦷
