LA and newspaper pictures will be on Tuesday, June 13th. Team and individual pictures will be 45 min before scheduled ball times.

City of Slayton - List of programs

2023 information for Rec and Pool programming/lessons/etc. has now been posted on our website (www.slayton.govoffice.com). However, registration is not open yet. We have purchased and are implementing brand new registration/payment software that will integrate with our website. This process will be tremendously more user friendly from the customer and city staff perspective as registration and payment will be one process, not two. The change will be worth the wait. So take a look at the dates, mark them in your calendar, and check back around May 1, 2023 to register! Thank you for your patience!

Spread the word! The Minnesota Twins will conduct a free Play Ball! Minnesota youth clinic in Slayton on Saturday, July 30. Hosted by Nobles Cooperative Electric, the baseball clinic will take place at Bicentennial Park, Slayton.
Session 1: 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Session 2: 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Outdoor Field: Bicentennial Park, 199028th Street, Slayton
(In case of weather) Indoor Facility: Murray County Central High School, Slayton
Presented by Great River Energy, Play Ball! Minnesota youth clinics are for boys and girls ages 6-12.
Play Ball! Minnesota instructors will provide all the necessary equipment for the clinic; however, players should bring their gloves. All participants must pre-register before attending at www.playballmn.com.

There will be no youth softball practice today due to the youth softball camp at 12:00 pm. The camp is $40 for anyone who wants to still register!

We are excited for the MINNESOTA TWINS PLAY BALL! Youth Clinic coming to Slayton July 30. This is a FREE opportunity for some softball and baseball pointers from Minnesota Twins staff. Open to everyone ages 6 to 12. Free t-shirts while supplies last. All participants must pre-register before attending at www.playballmn.com. There are two sessions:
