I had my second cervical screening yesterday and it's SO important to make sure you go too. Your health is priceless and early detection can save lives.

What is a cervical screening/smear test?:

This is a procedure that checks for abnormal cells in the cervix that could develop into cervical cancer. The test involves collecting a small sample of cells from the cervix with a soft brush and sending it to a lab for testing.

If you haven't had one before, you will receive your first invitation when you're around 24. It can seem scary going to such an intimate screening, but I promise you that nurse has seen many coochies in their career and they're just happy you've come along to protect yourselves! 🩷
