Introducing Bidzina Mosiashvili, our amazing Marketing Analyst ✨

What I Do at PayTickr: As a Marketing Analyst, my day-to-day involves monitoring website and digital ads traffic data, transforming it into actionable insights through visualizations, and implementing strategies based on data analysis. 💼 📈

What I like about working at PayTickr: I Love Working with PayTickr because it allows me to merge my creative marketing instincts with my analytical skills. The freedom to explore projects beyond my imagination is truly exhilarating. 💡

Things I do in my spare time/interesting things about me: Outside of work, I'm actively involved in innovative and entrepreneurial activities in Calgary. Additionally, I run a beekeeping side hustle where I tend to my own bees, harvest honey, and craft beeswax products to sell at farmers' markets. 🐝 🍯

Spotlight: Eleanor Sheard

Meet Eleanor Sheard, our creative Graphic Designer/Content Creator 🎨

What I do in my position: I produce the design assets for PayTickr whereas, I am responsible for the web design of our website, designing things such as magazine ads, social media content such as posts and reels, logo alterations, email campaign visuals, Paytickr merchandise production and design, mock-ups, utilizing Figma for app interface layout, social media management and generating leads, and much more! 💻

What I like about working at PayTickr: is the creative and dynamic nature of my role. I love being able to work on a wide range of design projects, from web design and social media content creation to merchandise design and visual branding. The varied tasks keep my work exciting and challenging, allowing me to continuously hone my design skills and contribute to different aspects of the company's visual identity. I also find my team at PayTickr to be supporting, collaborative, innovating and all-around great to work with. 🖱️ 🤝

Things I do in my spare time/interesting things about me: In my spare time, I run 2 separate small arts and craft businesses. My art business focuses on selling digital and traditional prints, while I also spend time illustrating personal art to share to the public and commissions. In my craft business, I sell personalized gifts and merchandise such as personalized t-shirts, stickers, tote bags, pet illustrations and more. I also manage my freelance graphic design business, , and have done projects for various clients outside or PayTickr. Around my small businesses, I spend my time sketching to practice my art skills, I like going to the gym, doing yoga, and enjoy other hobbies like sculpting with polymer clay, baking, cooking, reading and going to music festivals. 🎨 ✍️ 🏋️🥐 📕 🎶

Spotlight: Janel Hernandez

Meet our Janel Hernandez, our incredible Full Stack Software Developer 💫

What I do in my position: I am responsible for creating and managing databases, developing user interfaces (UI), and testing features to ensure they function as intended. My role is to ensure that both the front-end and back-end of our software products are running optimally, providing a seamless experience for users. 💻

What I like about working at PayTickr: What I love about my position is the variety and challenge it offers. I get to be involved in both the logical, problem-solving aspects of back-end database work, and the creative, user-focused work of designing and developing user interfaces. This combination keeps my work exciting and engaging. Furthermore, the process of testing features pushes me to think critically and from the user’s perspective, making sure that our software not only works but is user-friendly and meets the needs of our clients. The joy of seeing all these different parts come together to form a complete, functioning software is why I love what I do. 🧠 🤝 🖱️

Things I do in my spare time/interesting things about me: In my spare time I love exploring restaurants and trying out new food! 🥗 🍕

What I do in my position: I work with Janel on developing the system, provide customer support, fix bugs, manage our servers, and do anything else that's needed to keep things running smoothly. 💻

What I like about working at PayTickr: I love hearing the stories from small business owners and bookkeepers about how they're able to run their business more efficiently as a result of using our platform. It's rewarding to see not only new customers come onboard to the system, but also seeing how our customers who have been with us for a couple years have been able to grow their business, and the small part that PayTickr plays in allowing them to do that. We also occasionally get to hear those success stories directly from the customers and that's always a great feeling, knowing that we are directly helping Canadian small businesses and the Canadian economy. 💼

Things I do in my spare time/interesting things: I play softball in the summers, I enjoy watching hockey and baseball, I play video games, and I'm also involved in an app that helps charities redirect leftover food from grocery stores and restaurants to service agencies which help those in need. 🏒 ⚾🎮🤝 🍎

What I do in my position: I oversee the entire company, trying to keep everyone moving in the right direction.

Things I do in my spare time/interesting things about me: I have 3 kids so my time is taken up by work and my family, which is perfect for me. Everyday at work, I have different problems to solve and no day is the same at home with the family, so my life is never boring; always exciting which is great!💼👨‍👩‍👦
