Banteng & Buffalo Safaris
đCobourg Northern Territory
Bow hunting big old bulls.
Doesnât get any better
Jared struck a bit of bad luck weeks prior to his Banteng hunt when whistling foxes with the bow back in Vic. Long story short he was in a moon boot for his hunt and grit his teeth and took the challenge like a man. Obviously limited to how far he could walk and how quickly he could cover ground compared to being in a normal set of boots, but still covered the kilometres required to find a great representative bull. He packed it out back to the beach an to the ute. (Notice boot in last pic)
We had a bloody fun week !

A beautiful solitary bull we found bedded in the Sand Palms. A couple quick shots from Dale with the 375 and his journey around the world to come and hunt Banteng was complete. The great thing about Cobourg is the adventure isnât over even when your trophy is in the salt đŁ
Itâs all the extra encounters that this place offers that makes it so bloody good
James with a beautiful bull, we had a brilliant week with James his partner Julia and another great couple.
We have 2 weeks still available to book this season in September at a discounted rate

Bow hunting is our specialty, getting in close, working with the landscape and environment to be hidden and unnoticed is what we love. Hunting only with a bow for over decade now really does refine the art of hunting, and reading the situation at play, animal behaviour and helps give yourself and hunters the highest probability of making a successful shot and hunt.
Cobourg sunsets đ„
Vibrant red cliffs meet the clear water, such a spectacular, unspoilt place.
The ecosystem is healthy on land and in the water.
World class hunting and fishing alike.
You canât help but be filled with gratitude when sitting here admiring this beautiful place with the only sound, gentle waves crashing at your feet.

Well done Gav on a brilliant old bull. Hot as hell and we did the miles and made it happen. The carry out was a little đ„”
You learn from watching, you learn from killing, the key being - you have to be OUT THERE to do either one of those things. Prioritise getting OUT THERE
Banteng isnât even half of Cobourg. There is so much to do, see and experience. Bow hunting for fish / shark / rays
Was a big hot week late in the season with a full camp but we managed to get it done.
Grateful to all the hunters who came into camp in 2022, so many good people that are now mates.
