Independence is 'key to protecting' NHS Scotland, say SNP ahead of it's 75th birthday INDEPENDENCE is “key to protecting” the NHS in Scotland, the SNP has said ahead of the health service’s 75th anniversary.

Carriageway resurfacing works are scheduled to take place on Grassyards Road, Kilmarnock.

The works are due to take place from Monday 3 until Friday 7 July between 7am to 6pm each day.

The A77 slip roads maintained by Amey South West Trunk Roads will also be closed for the duration of the works.

Following on from the Scottish Government decision to make Amazon pay the Living Wage in order to receive government grants, a decision which made Scotland a legend across the globe - encouraging Amazon to announce that they’d raise wages in both the USA and UK.

Definitely something to be proud of and showing that it can be done! Now, in order to have any business assistance, as of today, the workers must be on at least the living wage!

Scotland has been leading by example on fair pay, with the highest proportion of employees paid the real Living Wage of any uk nation. This shows once again the progress we can make within the restricted powers we are permitted as part of the uk union - and once more we imagine, what more we could do if we have all of our powers restored??🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍
